Rockies pitcher Kenny Roberts is making progress from the inflammation in his left elbow and he could begin throwing soon, reports MLB.com.
"We're closing in on talking about getting him out and throwing again," manager Walt Weiss said.
The injury caused Roberts to be placed on the disabled list. He has not pitched since May 22.
