Royals hold outfielder Alex Rios out of Saturday's lineup

Royals OF Alex Rios is out of the lineup Saturday against the Tigers. Rios will rest for the first time in his 10 games since returning from a bout with the chicken pox.

He's been one of the hottest hitters in the lineup during that stretch, batting .361 with a pair of homers, four RBI, and a stolen base. Jonny Gomes will cover right field for Rios in Saturday's contest.
