Now that the Red Sox are adding Hanley Ramirez and Pablo Sandoval to their ballclub, we can play around with some of their possible lineups. Obviously these are subject to change for many reasons, chief among them being that a trade or two are certainly coming in the near future.

Still, it's the offseason and it's a Monday. We need something to discuss. Let's hop to it.

If no one is dealt, we could try this ...

1. Rusney Castillo, CF
2. Dustin Pedroia, 2B
3. David Ortiz, DH
4. Hanley Ramirez, LF
5. Pablo Sandoval, 3B
6. Yoenis Cespedes, RF
7. Mike Napoli, 1B
8. Xander Bogaerts, SS
9. Christian Vazquez, C

What if they trade Cespedes?

1. Castillo, CF
2. Pedroia, 2B
3. Ortiz, DH
4. Ramirez, LF
5. Sandoval, 3B
6. Napoli, 1B
7. Mookie Betts, RF
8. Bogaerts, SS
9. Vazquez, C

What if they leave Ramirez at shortstop, keep Cespedes and trade Bogaerts?

1. Castillo, CF
2. Pedroia, 2B
3. Ortiz, DH
4. Ramirez, SS
5. Sandoval, 3B
6. Cespedes, LF
7. Napoli, 1B
8. Betts, RF
9. Vazquez, C

Shane Victorino, Allen Craig, Daniel Nava, Brock Holt, Jackie Bradley Jr. and Will Middlebrooks are still hanging around, too. All but Middlebooks are outfield options with Nava and Craig also available to play first base.

There are also arguments to be had that Betts should lead off instead of Castillo. Pedroia is also a leadoff option and we could play around with the 4-7 spots in the above scenarios, too.

The situation is pretty fluid with so much offseason left and the starting rotation needing upgrades, but for now, that offense looks pretty powerful, regardless of how we piece it together.

In the meantime, post your lineup idea below. There's no wrong answer.
