With two weeks left in spring training, Cubs left-hander Tsuyoshi Wada will remain in the mix for a spot in the rotation, according to MLB.com on Sunday. Wada will continue to start games the rest of the way.
Wada has allowed seven runs over 5 2/3 innings pitched in three appearances (one start) in Cactus League play.
"He's still scheduled to be a starter, so we have to continue to try to stretch him out," manager Rick Renteria said.
