Mike Trout might be young, but boy does he know how to celebrate his birthday. He's played two games on his day of birth, and homered both times.
At such a young age, it's scary how good Mike Trout is. And he's only going to get better.

He's a pretty good leadoff hitter
Trout entered the 2015 All-Star Game as the reigning MVP, and he did not disappoint. Trout led off the Midsummer Classic with a home run. He became the first player to lead off an All-Star Game with a homer since Bo Jackson in 1989.
His All-Star Game heroics weren't done there.

He won back-to-back All-Star MVPs
After leading off the 2015 All-Star Game with a home run, Trout made even more history. He was selected as the game's MVP. Trout became just the fifth player to win multiple All-Star MVPs, and he's the first player to ever win back-to-back ASG MVPs. He's so great, All-Star pitchers can't even get him out.

President Obama name-checked him
The most powerful man in the world knows that Trout is the best in the league. In a 2014 speech, President Obama compared the farm bill to Trout's skill set. Not bad for being in your 20s.

His rookie season was incredible
Winning Rookie of the Year at 21 is impressive, but Trout's 2012 season deserves even more praise. Despite playing in just 139 games, Trout became the first player in MLB history to hit 30 home runs, steal 45 bases and score 125 runs. He was voted the runner-up for the AL MVP.

He's outperforming the legends
Trout and the legendary Willie Mays have more in common than their position. Trout and Mays are the only players to ever have multiple seasons with a .320 batting average, 25 homers and 30 stolen bases. Get this: Trout did it in his first two full major league seasons.

He hit for the cycle at 21
On May 21, 2013, Trout became the youngest American League player to hit for the cycle. He was 21. Trout also was the first Angels player to achieve the milestone while driving in five runs.

Wikipedia helped popularize his nickname
In what started as a Wikipedia campaign, Trout earned the nickname the "Millville Meteor" because he's from Millville, N.J. The nickname caught on, and Trout has adopted the moniker.

In signing the largest deal for a player not yet eligible for arbitration, the Angels and Trout agreed to a 6-year, $144.5 million extension in 2014. Trout signed the deal months before turning 23.

Despite not being called up to the majors until a month into the season, Mike Trout dominated the 2012 regular season. He became just the 18th Rookie of the Year to win the award unanimously. At 21, Trout was the youngest player to ever earn the honor.

In his incredible rookie season, Trout became the youngest player to join the 30-30 club (30 home runs, 30 stolen bases). Trout's 30 homers, and league-best 49 stolen bases were the first time a rookie reached those numbers.

Two MVPs, one season
Not only did Mike Trout take home the honor of 2014 All-Star Game MVP, but the Angels outfielder was crowned the AL's Most Valuable Player, too. Trout was just the 10th player to win the MVP award by 23.
