Giants' Peter Tago: Joins Giants as non-roster invitee
Tago signed with the Giants as a non-roster invitee Monday, Amy Gutierrez of the Giants' official site reports.
The 29-year-old is yet to make his major-league debut. He pitched in independent leagues in 2019 and 2020 but returned to affiliated ball in 2021, posting a 3.18 ERA and a 30.7 percent strikeout rate in 56.2 innings across the two highest levels of the White Sox's system.
