Desmond Lindsay: Let go by Mets

Lindsay was released by the Mets on Tuesday, Jacob Resnick of SNY reports. The 2015 second-round pick opened 2021 at Double-A but has been let go after posting a .155/.269/.310 slash line with 33 strikeouts in 67 plate appearances. Lindsay was unable to live up to his draft pedigree and has mostly been stuck in the lower minors.
