Freeman has been with Triple-A Charlotte since June 5 and owns a 2.55 ERA and a 23:16 K:BB over 24.2 innings. However, he'll yield his spot on the 40-man roster to Jake Palisch. Assuming he clears waivers, Freeman will likely remain at Triple-A.
