Twins' DaShawn Keirsey: Rehabbing in FCL
Keirsey (oblique) began a rehab assignment Tuesday with the Twins' rookie-level Florida Complex League affiliate and went 1-for-3 with two runs in his first game with the team. Keirsey has been on the 7-day injured list at High-A Cedar Rapids since Aug. 12 with a right oblique strain. Twins' DaShawn Keirsey: Out with oblique injury
Keirsey has been placed on the seven-day injured list at High-A Cedar Rapids, retroactive to August 11, with a right oblique strain. After returning from a left hamstring strain in June, Keirsey tallied 17 hits over 31 appearances including the first three home runs of his professional career. Only a 21-game streak at Kauffman Stadium from 1998-2001 was longer in Twins history.
