Diamondbacks' Jake Hager: Sent down Monday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hager was optioned to Triple-A Reno on Monday.

Hager saw minimal playing time during his stint with the major-league club, as he went 0-for-2 with an RBI, a walk and a strikeout across three appearances following his call-up Aug. 12. He should see more consistent at-bats in the minors and will be in the mix to rejoin the Diamondbacks if they need utility depth at some point.

Diamondbacks' Jake Hager: Back in Arizona
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hager was recalled by the Diamondbacks from Triple-A Reno on Thursday.

Hager was in the majors for the first week of August, but he was optioned when Josh Rojas was activated from the injured list. He's now back with the club due to Kole Calhoun (hamstring) being sidelined. Hager has been with four organizations this season and has managed a .791 OPS across 235 plate appearances at Triple-A, and he has three hits in 27 plate appearances in the big leagues.

Diamondbacks' Jake Hager: En route to minors
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

The Diamondbacks optioned Hager to Triple-A Reno on Monday, Zach Buchanan of The Athletic reports.

Hager's demotion seemingly foreshadows the return of Josh Rojas (finger), who is expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Tuesday's game in San Francisco. The Diamondbacks had been using Hager in the short side of a platoon at second base with Josh VanMeter, but Rojas should take over full-time duties at that position upon being activated. Hager went 2-for-16 over his six-game stint with the big club.

Diamondbacks' Jake Hager: Starting Sunday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hager will start at second base and bat sixth Sunday versus the Dodgers.

Hager was claimed off waivers by Arizona on Friday and seemed likely to head to Triple-A Reno, but he's instead with the big-league club. The 28-year-old appeared in five games earlier in the year for the Mets and went 1-for-8 with a run and three strikeouts.

Hager was claimed off waivers by the Diamondbacks on Friday, Zach Buchanan of The Athletic reports.

Hager was designated for assignment by the Mariners on Wednesday, and he's now been claimed off waivers by a third different team this season. The 28-year-old started the season with the Mets and also spent time with the Brewers.

Mariners' Jake Hager: Removed from 40-man roster
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

The Mariners designated Hager for assignment Wednesday.

The transaction opens up a spot on the 40-man roster for lefty starting pitcher Tyler Anderson, whom the Mariners acquired in a trade with the Pirates earlier Wednesday. Hager, who is on his third organization of the season, will stick around at Triple-A Tacoma if none of baseball's other 29 teams are willing to trade for him and scoop him up off waivers.

Mariners' Jake Hager: Claimed by Seattle
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

The Mariners claimed Hager off waivers from the Brewers on Tuesday.

Hager was DFA'd by Milwaukee on June 18. The infielder, who recorded one hit across eight at-bats with the Mets earlier this season, will likely be assigned to Triple-A Tacoma, though the Mariners have yet to announce his next destination. Evan White (hip) was transferred to the 60-day IL to make room for Hager on the 40-man roster.

Brewers' Jake Hager: Dropped from 40-man roster
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hager was designated for assignment Friday.

Hager was claimed by the Brewers in late May after being designated for assignment by the Mets but failed to crack the Brewers' active roster. He'll be available on waivers again, with the Brewers clearing a spot on the 40-man roster to select Zack Godley's contract.

Brewers' Jake Hager: Claimed by Brewers
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hager was claimed off waivers by the Brewers on Tuesday and assigned to Triple-A Nashville.

Hager got to make his big-league debut for the Mets in mid-May but went 1-for-8 in limited playing time. If he eventually gets another opportunity with the Brewers, it will likely come in a similarly small role.

Mets' Jake Hager: Designated for assignment
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hager was designated for assignment by the Mets on Saturday.

Hager spent a week on the big-league roster. The 28-year-old did get to record his first big-league hit, but he went just 1-for-8 overall in limited action. Jordan Yamamoto was recalled to take Hager's place on the roster.

Mets' Jake Hager: Ticketed for big leagues
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hager had his contract selected and was called up by the Mets on Saturday, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.

Hager has played at Triple-A for five seasons, but has yet to play in the major leagues. He'll serve as infield depth, as the team will remain without J.D. Davis (hand) and Luis Guillorme (oblique) for a couple more games.

Mets' Jake Hager: Joins player pool
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hager was added to the Mets' player pool Monday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Hager will provide the Mets with additional depth in the infield, but he isn't likely to step into a significant role unless the team experiences a significant injury crisis. The 27-year-old has spent parts of four seasons at the Triple-A level, hitting a poor .237/.286/.361.

Mets' Jake Hager: Lands minor-league deal with Mets
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hager signed a minor-league contract with the Mets on Thursday as a non-roster invitee, Anthony DiComo of reports.

Hager hasn't made it out of the minors during his career as he's been stuck at the Triple-A level over the past four seasons. The 26-year-old will get to perform at major-league spring training this season, but he'll likely need to improve his .242/.303/.411 slash line that he accumulated over 115 minor-league games last year.

Brewers' Jake Hager: Inks minor-league deal with Brewers
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Hager signed a minor-league contract with the Brewers on Tuesday.

Hager figures to serve as organizational infield depth for the Brewers in 2018. The 24-year-old 2011 first-round pick has stalled at Triple-A over the previous two seasons, struggling to a combined .228/.272/.326 line across 144 games with Triple-A Durham.
