The NBA announced its starters Thursday night for the 2013 NBA All-Star Game. Here are the starters for the East and West, as voted on by the fans:

Position East West
Backcourt Rajon Rondo, Boston Celtics Chris Paul, Los Angeles Clippers
Backcourt Dwyane Wade, Miami Heat Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers
Frontcourt LeBron James, Miami Heat Kevin Durant, OKC Thunder
Frontcourt Carmelo Anthony, New York Knicks Blake Griffin, Los Angeles Clippers
Frontcourt Kevin Garnett, Boston Celtics Dwight Howard, Los Angeles Lakers

No big surprises, and it's good to see that Jeremy Lin, who admitted himself that he shouldn't be an All-Star, wasn't selected for the West guard spot. There were snubs as there always are (Tim Duncan and the absence of a single Warriors player may be the biggest), but in general it was about what you'd expect from the fans and a good representation of the biggest "stars" in the league, which is the whole point.
