Tuesday's best bets

The San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder square off Tuesday in the first of two meetings in three days. The Spurs (21-7) host the Thunder (26-3) as one of 14 games on Tuesday, then travel to Oklahoma City for a Christmas Day matchup. These are the top two teams in the Western Conference, and the Thunder come in off a 119-103 victory against the Grizzlies on Monday night. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 31 points and Jalen Williams scored 24 as OKC rebounded from two losses in three games. Gilgeous-Alexander has scored at least 20 points in 100 straight games. The Thunder are second in the NBA in scoring (122.3 points per game) and the Spurs are sixth (120.1). Oklahoma City is a 5.5-point favorite, and the Over/Under is 234.5, and the SportsLine Projection Model has San Antonio covering the spread in 56% of simulations.        

Tuesday's sports schedule has a loaded NBA slate, with other matchups such as Lakers vs. Suns and Knicks vs. Timberwolves.
