Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard showed some late-game heroics on Friday, drilling a 3-pointer at the buzzer to eliminate the Rockets in Game 6 in Portland.

Down two with 0.9 seconds remaining, Lillard knocked down the shot over Chandler Parsons to send the team to the second round of the playoffs. He became the first player to make a buzzer-beating shot to win a playoff series since John Stockton's 3 that led Utah over Houston in 1997's Western Conference finals.

Lillard finished the game with 25 points on 8 of 14 from the floor, including 6 of 10 from downtown and 3 of 3 from the free throw line. He also chipped in with six rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block in 43 minutes.

Lillard has multiple 3-pointers in six straight playoff games, a franchise record. He finished the series averaging 25.5 points, 6.7 assists and 6.3 rebounds in six games.
