  • Bucks' Damian Lillard: Named All-Star Game MVP

Lillard was named the NBA All-Star Game MVP on Sunday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

After winning the Starry 3-Point Contest on Saturday, Lillard led the Eastern Conference All-Stars in his first career All-Star Game start Sunday. He tallied 39 points (14-26 FG, 11-23 3Pt), six assists, three rebounds and a steal in 28 minutes to help the East log a 200-plus point total as a team for the first time in All-Star Game history. Lillard will now have a few days to rest before the Bucks resume play Friday in Minnesota. Over his four appearances leading up to the All-Star break, the 33-year-old averaged 21.0 points, 6.3 assists and 3.5 rebounds in 29.8 minutes per game.

  • Bucks' Damian Lillard: Repeats as 3-point champ

Lillard defeated Atlanta's Trae Young in the final round of Saturday's Starry 3-Point Contest, taking home his second consecutive title.

Lillard became the first back-to-back winner of the competition since Jason Kapono claimed consecutive wins in 2007 and 2008. The Bucks point guard was one of four of the contest's eight competitors to tie for the lead with 26 points in the first round, with Lilllard, Young and Minnesota's Karl-Anthony Towns all advancing to the final over Indiana's Tyrese Haliburton following a 30-second tiebreaker round. After Young and Towns turned in scores of 24 and 22 points, respectively, in the final round, Lillard tied Young's score after hitting a flurry of shots on the second-to-last rack, then missed four consecutive shots on the final rack before knocking down his last attempt to seal the win.

  • Bucks' Damian Lillard: Goes for 24 before All-Star break

Lillard ended with 24 points (7-21 FG, 3-13 3Pt, 7-7 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 35 minutes during Thursday's 113-110 loss to Memphis.

Lillard had a rough time shooting the rock and was particularly woeful from three-point range, though he attempted enough field goals to deliver a decent stat line across the board. Lillard has adjusted well to being Milwuakee's second-best offensive option after spending most of his career as the alpha dog with the Trail Blazers. While his numbers have experienced a slight decrease, it hasn't been a massive issue from a fantasy perspective. He's averaging 24.6 points, 6.7 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game across 51 appearances in 2023-24.

  • Bucks' Damian Lillard: Will play vs. Memphis

Lillard (ankle) has been cleared to play Thursday night against the Grizzlies, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.

Lillard was once again added to the injury report as probable with an ankle injury, but as expected, he's been given the green light to take the court. He'll have a good chance to get back on track against a depleted Memphis roster after hitting only 37.9 percent (11-for-29) of his tries from the field over his last two appearances.

  • Bucks' Damian Lillard: Expected to play Thursday

Lillard (ankle) is listed as probable for Thursday's game versus the Grizzlies.

Lillard continues to deal with a nagging ankle injury but is expected to suit up for a fourth straight contest. The star guard is struggling with his outside shot as of late, converting just 31.6 percent of his 7.6 three-point attempts per contest over his last 10 appearances.

  • Bucks' Damian Lillard: Struggles with shot Tuesday

Lillard logged 16 points (5-14 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds and five assists over 32 minutes during Tuesday's 123-97 loss to Miami.

Lillard tied for second on Milwaukee in scoring, but he had a tough time shooting the ball, going just 2-for-7 from three-point range and 3-of-7 from inside the arc. The star point guard did manage to convert from deep for the 50th straight game to begin the campaign, though on a per-game basis his 2.9 triples per contest is on pace for his lowest mark since 2016-17. Lillard's overall output has dropped a bit now that he's playing alongside another dominant star in Giannis Antetokounmpo, but Lillard is still putting up healthy fantasy numbers with 24.6 points, 6.7 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game.

  • Bucks' Damian Lillard: Good to go Tuesday

Lillard (ankle) will play in Tuesday's game against the Heat.

Both Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) will play through probable tags Tuesday for the second leg of this back-to-back set. Lillard should be somewhat fresh for this one, as he played just 23 minutes against Denver on Monday.

  • Bucks' Damian Lillard: Tagged as probable

Lillard is listed as probable to play Tuesday versus Miami due to left ankle inflammation.

Lillard is joined by Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee), Brook Lopez (back) and Pat Connaughton (knee) as probable for Tuesday's game. It's likely that each player's designation is merely maintenance related, but Tuesday representing the end of a back-to-back set makes load management a risk.

  • Bucks' Damian Lillard: Will play Monday

Lillard (ankle) is available for Monday's game against the Nuggets, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.

Lillard was probable for Monday's matchup, so it isn't very surprising that he's been cleared to play against Denver. It seems unlikely that he'll face many limitations Monday after he tallied 26 points, eight assists, four rebounds and two steals in 29 minutes during Friday's win over the Hornets.

  • Bucks' Damian Lillard: Likely to play Monday

Lillard is listed as probable ahead of Monday's game against the Nuggets due to a left ankle sprain.

Lillard has been dealing with an ankle injury over the last week, missing two of the last three games, but he will likely be available Monday. If he can suit up, there likely won't be any limitations to his workload, barring any new developments.
