  • Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard: Scoring slows down in loss

Lillard posted 30 points (10-20 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 8-9 FT), four rebounds and three assists across 37 minutes during Saturday's 123-105 loss to Toronto. The 30-point effort on 50 percent shooting from the field and 88.8 percent shooting from the free-throw line actually amounts to an off night for Lillard, who has been as hot as any player thus far in January. Lillard was coming off a 60-point performance heading into Saturday and saw his scoring average for the month drop to 33.9 points per game after the 30-point outing. In addition to scoring at a prolific rate in January, Lilllard is supplementing his points production with averages of 7.7 assists, 4.0 rebounds, 3.9 triples and 1.1 steals.

  • Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard: Lights up Jazz with 60 points

Lillard produced 60 points (21-29 FG, 9-15 3Pt, 9-10 FT), seven rebounds, eight assists and three steals over 40 minutes during Wednesday's 134-124 win over the Jazz. Lillard was unstoppable Wednesday. Through three quarters of play, he had 50 points and was a perfect 9-for-9 from beyond the three-point arc. Wednesday's 60 points is a new season high and marks his fifth career 60-point performance. The Trail Blazers lost Jusuf Nurkic (calf) and Josh Hart (hamstring) to injuries Wednesday, but Lillard was too much for the Jazz to overcome. With the Trail Blazers currently in the 12th seed, Lillard will have to continue to step up if either player misses time.

  • Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard: Regains three-point stroke in win

Lillard finished Monday's 147-127 win over the Spurs with 37 points (12-19 FG, 7-11 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 12 assists, one rebound and one steal in 31 minutes. A matchup with the 14-33 Spurs was exactly what Lillard needed to get back on track coming off a pair of losses to the 76ers and Lakers in which he went a combined 11-for-38 from the field and 6-for-26 from three-point range. Aside from the poor shooting efforts in those two contests, Lillard has otherwise been magnificent during the past two weeks. In Portland's other seven games during that two-week stretch, Lillard has scored no fewer than 30 points in any contest and has shot no worse than 47.8 percent from the field.

  • Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard: Double-doubles in loss

Lillard recorded 24 points (5-17 FG, 3-13 3Pt, 11-13 FT), six rebounds and 10 assists in 40 minutes during Sunday's 121-112 loss to the Lakers. Lillard posted his second straight double-double with six rebounds, and the star point guard is also on a tear with eight straight contests with at least 20 points. Lillard is averaging 31.6 points, 7.7 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game with four double-doubles across 11 outings in January, but those strong numbers have led Portland to a 3-8 record in that span.

  • Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard: Struggles with shot in loss

Lillard produced 25 points (6-21 FG, 3-13 3Pt, 10-10 FT), six rebounds, 11 assists, two blocks and two steals across 40 minutes during Thursday's 105-95 loss to the 76ers. Lillard endured a miserable first half, knocking down just one of 10 attempts from the field. However, he was able to recover and shoot better after intermission to finish with a team-leading 25 points. While his 6-for-21 overall shooting mark won't bring joy to his fantasy managers, the star point guard did manage to prop up free-throw percentages with a perfect 10-for-10 night from the line while adding a pair of steals and blocks. Lillard also contributed 11 dimes to record his eighth double-double of the campaign.

  • Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard: Reaches 40 points again

Lillard finished with 44 points (12-20 FG, 6-12 3Pt, 14-14 FT), eight assists and three rebounds in 34 minutes in Tuesday's 122-113 loss to the Nuggets. Lillard continued his sizzling run of offensive production, hitting the 40-point mark for the second game in a row and clearing 30 points for the sixth consecutive contest. Perhaps most notably, the star point guard maintained his flawless shooting from the free-throw line; he's now converted on all 40 of his attempts at the charity stripe over his last three contests. While Lillard won't be able to sustain his run of red-hot shooting forever, fantasy managers can simply enjoy the ride while the 32-year-old is healthy and amid his best stretch of games since the 2020-21 season.

  • Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard: Heater continues Sunday

Lillard finished with 40 points (10-17 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 16-16 FT), six assists, three rebounds and one steal across 37 minutes in Sunday's 140-123 win over the Mavericks. Lillard came up huge during the Trail Blazers' weekend back-to-back set with the Mavericks, scoring more than one point per minute (76 in 66) while shooting a robust 56.8 percent from the field and going 26 of 26 from the free-throw line. While Lillard won't be able to sustain this level of performance -- he also popped for a season-high 50 points in a loss to the Cavaliers in the game prior to the back-to-back set -- the veteran point guard has at least safely quieted any concerns about his ability to return to elite form following an injury-shortened 2021-22 campaign.

  • Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard: Will play Saturday

Lillard (ankle) has been upgraded to available for Saturday's game against the Mavericks. The star point guard is available and should handle his regular workload as a starter. Apparently, the questionable tag didn't matter for Lillard the last time out, as he was also tabbed as questionable leading up to Thursday's tilt against the Cavaliers but was active and tallied 50 points in 40 minutes.

  • Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard: Questionable Saturday

Lillard is questionable for Saturday's meeting with Dallas due to a left ankle sprain. Lillard was also tabbed as questionable leading up to Thursday's tilt, but he was active and tallied 50 points in 40 minutes. However, Saturday's contest is the first leg of a back-to-back set, so fantasy managers should monitor Lillard's status closer to the 10:00 PM EST tipoff.

  • Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard: Drops season-high 50 points in loss

Lillard logged 50 points (16-28 FG, 5-13 3Pt, 13-15 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one steal over 40 minutes during Thursday's 119-113 loss to Cleveland. Lillard erupted for a season-high 50 points Thursday, tallying at least 30 points for the third straight game. After an early-season injury halted his momentum, Lillard has been rolling over the past few weeks. The Trail Blazers now sit outside the play-in bracket, meaning Lillard is going to have to put the team on his back once again down the stretch. It isn't certain he can get back to being a first-round player in fantasy, although the top 20 feels within reach.

Lillard (ankle) will play Thursday against the Cavaliers, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports. He's coming off a 30-point performance Tuesday against the Magic.

  • Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard: Tabbed questionable

Lillard is listed as questionable for Thursday's tilt against the Cavaliers with a left ankle sprain. Lillard hasn't missed a game since Dec. 3 but is at risk of missing Thursday's contest with a sprained ankle. If he were to sit out, Anfernee Simons would take over as the No. 1 option while Shaedon Sharpe and Gary Payton (ankle) could see extended run.

  • Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard: Another rough shooting night

Lillard closed with 19 points (7-24 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), two rebounds and eight assists in 36 minutes during Friday's 108-99 loss to the Pacers. Lillard struggled from the field for the second time in as many games, shooting less than 30 percent and going 1-for-8 from beyond the arc Friday night. He'll have a chance to right the ship in Toronto on Sunday. The six-time All-Star is still averaging an excellent 27.4 points, 7.2 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game this season.

After a slow start in the first half, Lillard came on in the second and ended up leading the team in scoring. It wasn't a great shooting night though, as he went a rough 2-for-9 from beyond the arc and matched a season-high with four missed free throws. In 25 contests so far, the veteran guard is averaging 27.4 points and 7.2 assists. He's also averaging a career-high 3.4 turnovers per game.

  • Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard: Sees shot volume decrease

Lillard closed with 19 points (7-14 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, 10 assists, two blocks and four steals in 29 minutes during Monday's 135-106 win over Detroit. Lillard didn't appear to be as aggressive as he normally is in Monday's victory, as he attempted his lowest number of shots since Dec. 16 in Dallas. However, he still managed to secure a double-double by finding his teammates for buckets, and he also recorded a season-high four steals. The star point guard is averaging 24.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.0 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks over his last five games.

Lillard got off to a modest start in this one by putting up five points in the first quarter, but he really started to heat up in the second period. He finished with 14 points on 4-for-8 from the field and 2-for-5 from downtown in 11 second-quarter minutes. Lillard has now reached the 30-point threshold in two of his last three contests.

  • Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard: Goes cold in win

Lillard contributed 17 points (5-18 FG, 1-10 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three rebounds, nine assists and two blocks in 38 minutes during Monday's 124-113 victory over the Hornets. Lillard continues to struggle with his three-point shot, connecting on just seven of his last 32 attempts, but he's still posting 22.3 points during his recent shooting slump. He's also dished out at least eight assists in each of his past three games, so despite the poor shooting, Lillard is still stacking up quality fantasy performances, which is exactly what elite players do. Lillard will look to find his shooting stroke during a showdown with Golden State on Friday.

  • Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard: Game-high 34 points in loss

Lillard racked up 20 first-half points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field, including two big threes in the second quarter to help Portland jump out to a six-point lead at the break. He added another 14 points in the second half but went just 1-of-5 during a 16-point quarter for the Trail Blazers as they fell behind on the road. Lillard's 34 points led the game while he also dished a team-high eight assists. He's now reached the 30-point mark five times in December.
