Jazz center Derrick Favors said Monday that his injured hip is feeling better and that he's preparing to play Wednesday against the Nets, the Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Favors played just six minutes in the team's final game before the break due to the hip injury, which also knocked him out for three consecutive games at the end of January and beginning of February. The team announced Monday that an MRI revealed a hip strain for Favors, who will officially be a game-time decision Wednesday.
Favors has averaged 12.9 points and 9.0 rebounds over 46 games played.
