Fan asks if Anthony is still elite; Melo calls it 'dumbest question ever'

Carmelo Anthony is back in the Instagram comments section again. After the you-are-stuck-with-me-buddy fiasco and all the post-draft defensiveness, Anthony has taken aim at an Instagram user named "freemangfx," who dared ask the question, "Is Carmelo Anthony still an elite player?"
"That may be the dumbest question ever asked," the New York Knicks forward responded.
This wasn't Anthony's only notable Instagram activity recently. He also posted the following image, which presumably was in response to the discussion about the Knicks reportedly getting closer to considering trading him:

None of this is nearly as bad as Ty Lawson blasting the Denver Nuggets organization on Instagram, but it's a bit weird that Anthony continues to use social media this way. Most of his tweets are sponsored, or something to do with his foundation or his Puerto Rican soccer team. Then every once in a while, he lashes out. Stay Me7o, I guess.
