Hill closed with nine points (3-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and five assists over 18 minutes during Friday's 122-115 loss to the Pistons. Hill made a rare appearance Friday, joining a host of fringe players who also found themselves thrust into larger roles. As is par for the course at this time of the year, the Pacers have thrown in the towel, affording someone like Hill a chance to get some reps in before the season is over. From a fantasy perspective, there is nothing to see here.... See More ... See Less

Pacers' George Hill: Scores season-high 15 points
Hill amassed 15 points (5-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 23 minutes during Thursday's 139-123 victory over the Bucks. With Tyrese Haliburton (knee), Bennedict Mathurin (ankle) and Chris Duarte (ankle) all sidelined, Hill played his most minutes since Dec. 28 and posted a season-high 15 points thanks to an extremely efficient shooting night. Haliburton is expected to miss at least two more games, so Hill should continue to be part of the Pacers' rotation during that stretch, though he's unlikely to shoot this well on a nightly basis.... Pacers' George Hill: Starting Thursday
Hill will start Thursday against the Spurs. Hill will make his debut with the Pacers as a starter since Tyrese Haliburton (calf) is unavailable Thursday. Expect T.J. McConnell to relieve Hill off the bench.... See More ... See Less -
Pacers' George Hill: Off injury report
Hill isn't listed on the Pacers' injury report and should be available for Monday's game against the Jazz. After being acquired from the Bucks on Thursday, Hill proceeded to miss the Pacers' back-to-back set Friday and Saturday versus the Suns and Wizards, respectively. Now that he's had more time to get acclimated to his new organization, Hill looks like he'll get the chance to dress Monday, though the Pacers may not work him into the rotation unless point guard Tyrese Haliburton (thigh) -- who is listed as questionable -- is unable to play.... Pacers' George Hill: Won't debut Saturday
Hill (trade) will not make his Pacers debut Saturday against the Wizards. Hill's next chance to play arrives Monday against the Jazz. There's a possibility he's bought out, though the Pacers are showing a desire to be competitive. Either way, he's not expected to be fantasy relevant in any role this season.... See More ... Pacers' George Hill: Won't debut Friday
Hill (trade pending) is listed out for Friday's game versus the Suns. Hill and Jordan Nwora will both have to wait at least until Saturday's matchup with Washington to make their season debuts with the Pacers. When available, Hill will likely compete with T.J. McConnell for backup point guard minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Pacers' George Hill: Included in deal to Indiana
The Pacers received Hill, Jordan Nwora, Serge Ibaka and two second-round picks from the Bucks on Thursday as part of a three-team deal that sent Jae Crowder to Milwaukee and three future second-round picks to the Nets, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. After he had largely fallen out of the rotation, the Bucks opted to move on from Hill, who looks poised to handle a similar low-minute depth role in Indiana. Though the Pacers don't profile as a contender, the 36-year-old is an Indiana native and was presumably receptive to a return to the club with whom he enjoyed the bests seasons of his career from 2011-12 through 2015-16.... Bucks' George Hill: Gets light run in return
Hill (illness) played 12 minutes and finished with five points (2-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt), three assists, two rebounds and one steal in Friday's 138-109 loss to the Hornets. Hill reclaimed a small role in the Milwaukee rotation after missing the previous four games with the illness. Even though he's healthy again, the 36-year-old Hill is unlikely to see his playing time expand much while Jrue Holiday is available.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' George Hill: Available Friday
Hill (illness) is available for Friday's matchup against the Hornets. Hill will be available, but he's essentially lost his spot in the rotation since Joe Ingles made his team debut. Hill has appeared in just one game since Dec. 19.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' George Hill: Likely to return Friday
Hill (illness) is probable for Friday's game against the Hornets. Hill has missed the last four games due to an illness, but he'll likely be cleared to return to action Friday. He had been out of the Bucks' rotation shortly before dealing with his illness, so it's unclear whether he'll see any playing time if he's cleared to suit up against Charlotte.... See More ... Bucks' George Hill: Out again Wednesday
Hill (illness) has been ruled out for Wednesday's matchup against the Raptors. Hill will be sidelined for a fourth consecutive game due to an illness. His absence will mark his eighth missed contest over Milwaukee's past nine games. The veteran guard's next chance to suit up will come Friday against the Hornets.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' George Hill: Ruled out Tuesday
Hill (illness) has been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup against the Wizards. Hill was initially deemed probable despite missing back-to-back games and not practicing Monday with an illness. Nonetheless, the veteran guard will ultimately be sidelined for a third straight due to the aliment, though his prolonged absence shouldn't have a major impact on Milwaukee's rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' George Hill: Likely to play Tuesday
Hill (illness) is probable for Tuesday's game against the Wizards. Hill was unable to practice Monday, but he'll likely be able to return to game action Tuesday after missing the last two matchups due to a non-COVID illness. He's been unavailable for six of the last seven games, so it's possible his minutes are monitored if he's cleared to play Tuesday.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' George Hill: Doesn't practice Monday
Hill (illness) didn't participate in Monday's practice session, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. Hill has missed the last two games due to a non-COVID illness, but coach Mike Budenholzer hopes the guard will be able to return Tuesday against the Wizards despite missing practice Monday. If Hill is held out again, Jevon Carter, Grayson Allen and Pat Connaughton will be candidates for increased playing time.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' George Hill: Not playing Sunday
Hill (illness) has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Wizards, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. The veteran will sit for the second straight game with the ailment. With Jrue Holiday (illness) and Khris Middleton (knee) also out, Jevon Carter, Grayson Allen and Pat Connaughton will see significant backcourt minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' George Hill: Questionable Sunday
Hill (illness) is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Wizards. Hill missed the Bucks' previous contest with a non-COVID illness and remains iffy for Sunday's game. He returned to the rotation in his last appearance after receiving a DNP-CD in three straight games. With Jrue Holiday (illness) still sidelined Sunday, Hill would likely be in line for some action if he suits up.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' George Hill: Out as expected
Hill (illness) will not suit up against the Timberwolves on Friday, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. Hill was tabbed doubtful on the initial injury report and will sit Friday. Although he logged 28 minutes in his most recent contest, he had fallen out of the rotation in the four prior games. With Jrue Holiday (illness) and Khris Middleton (knee) also out, Jevon Carter, Grayson Allen and Pat Connaughton will see significant backcourt minutes. Hill's next chance to play comes Sunday against the Wizards.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' George Hill: Considered doubtful Friday
Hill is doubtful for Friday's game against Minnesota due to a non-COVID illness. Hill played 28 minutes Wednesday against Chicago but hasn't been a consistent member of the Bucks' rotation recently. Assuming he's sidelined Friday, his next chance to return will be Sunday against the Wizards.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' George Hill: Out of rotation
Hill didn't play in Friday's matchup with the Nets. Hill has received a DNP in three straight games, coinciding with Joe Ingles making his season debut Dec. 19. It's possible Hill will make his way back into the rotation, but the Bucks have plenty of other options at guard off the bench like Jevon Carter, Pat Connaughton and Wesley Matthews.... See More ... Bucks' George Hill: Active defensively against Thunder
Hill racked up 12 points (3-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 5-6 FT), two rebounds, five assists and three steals across 35 minutes during Wednesday's 136-132 double-overtime victory over the Thunder. With Jrue Holiday (ankle) on the sidelines, Hill saw a season high in minutes as the primary backup to starting point guard Jevon Carter, and the the 36-year-old turned the court time into a solid performance. The three steals were particularly surprising, as Hill came into the game with only two pilfers in total on the season. His role will dwindle when the Bucks' roster gets healthier, but with Holiday likely out Friday against the Spurs too, Hill could provide some fantasy utility again.... See More ... See Less
