Ibaka signed a one-year deal with Bayern Munich of the EuroLeague on Wednesday, Marc Mundet reports. After being waived by the Pacers in February, Ibaka failed to find a home in the NBA throughout the offseason and will instead spend the 2023-24 campaign in Europe with Bayern Munich. The 14-year NBA veteran appeared in 16 games with Milwaukee last season, averaging 4.1 points and 2.8 rebounds across 11.6 minutes.... See More ... See Less

Serge Ibaka: Parting ways with Indiana
Ibaka will be waived by the Pacers on Thursday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Ibaka was traded from Milwaukee to Indiana on Thursday, but the Pacers' decision to part ways with him isn't shocking, given their frontcourt talent. After being cut out of the Bucks' rotation in recent weeks, Ibaka will have a chance to sign elsewhere to close out the 2022-23 campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Pacers' Serge Ibaka: Shipped to Indiana
The Pacers acquired Ibaka, Jordan Nwora, George Hill and two second-round picks from the Bucks on Thursday as part of a three-team deal that sent Jae Crowder to the Bucks and five second-round picks to the Nets, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Ibaka had been out of the rotation in Milwaukee before he and the Bucks came to an agreement a few weeks ago for him to remain away from the team while the front office explored trade options. The 33-year-old found a new home just before Thursday's trade deadline, but the move to Indiana won't guarantee him steady minutes. Myles Turner recently signed a two-year extension with the Pacers and is entrenched as the team's starting center, so Ibaka will have to vie with the likes of Daniel Theis and Isaiah Jackson for backup minutes.... Bucks' Serge Ibaka: Working with team on potential trade
Ibaka (personal) and the Bucks mutually agreed Friday to begin pursuing trade opportunities, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Ibaka left the team just under two weeks ago for what the Bucks have termed as a personal matter, and based on Charania's report, the veteran center appears poised to remain away from Milwaukee until the organization is able to find a new home for him. The 33-year-old has largely been on the outside of head coach Mike Budenholzer's rotation all season, appearing in just 16 games and averaging 4.1 points and 2.8 rebounds in 11.6 minutes per contest. Even though he's signed to a cost-effective one-year, $2.91 million deal, Ibaka may not command much interest on the trade market and could be waived if the Bucks aren't able to find a taker prior to the Feb. 9 deadline for deals.... Bucks' Serge Ibaka: Return date to team unknown
Ibaka (personal) is not expected to rejoin the Bucks when they return to Milwaukee following their five-game road trip that concludes Monday in Miami, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. Ibaka is thus without a timetable for return. However, since Ibaka wasn't a member of the Milwaukee rotation before taking a personal leave, his absence shouldn't affect how head coach Mike Budenholzer distributes the minutes in the frontcourt.... Bucks' Serge Ibaka: Out through four-game road trip
Ibaka (personal reasons) will miss Milwaukee's upcoming four-game road trip, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. After not appearing in each of the Bucks' previous three contests, Ibaka will officially be sidelined for the team's next four showings due to a personal matter. The 33-year-old's next chance to return comes Dec. 16 against the Pacers.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Serge Ibaka: Sitting out Monday
Ibaka won't be available for Monday's game against the Knicks due to a personal matter. With just two appearances in the Bucks' last 23 games, Ibaka's absence Monday shouldn't affect head coach Mike Budenholzer's rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Serge Ibaka: Cameo appearance Sunday
Ibaka contributed four points (2-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt), two rebounds, one block and two steals across 16 minutes during Sunday's 118-95 loss to the Wizards. Ibaka saw actual playing time for just the second time in the past six weeks, logging 16 minutes in a losing effort. The Bucks were without a host of key pieces, affording Ibaka a rare opportunity to contribute. Based on what we have seen, or haven't seen, from Ibaka this season, he can be safely ignored across all fantasy formats.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Serge Ibaka: Likely to return Saturday
Ibaka (illness) is probable to play in Saturday's matchup with the Jazz, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. Ibaka hasn't played since Nov. 21 due to a non-COVID illness. However, he may not have a significant role Saturday, as he played just four and seven minutes in his last two appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Serge Ibaka: Won't play Thursday
Ibaka will miss Thursday's game versus the Grizzlies due to a non-COVID illness. An illness has been traveling around the Bucks' locker room recently, keeping Jrue Holiday out in addition to Ibaka on Thursday. Ibaka hasn't been part of the rotation recently anyway, so his absence shouldn't have an impact from a fantasy standpoint.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Serge Ibaka: Not part of rotation
Ibaka (coach's decision) didn't see any minutes in Friday's 106-105 win over the Mavericks. Ibaka has dressed for the Bucks' last two games after missing five straight contests with an illness, but he has yet to see any use off the bench. The 33-year-old is ostensibly healthy but isn't a part of head coach Mike Budenholzer's rotation at this time.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Serge Ibaka: Active Wednesday
Ibaka (illness) is active Wednesday against Sacramento. Ibaka will be available off the bench for the first time since Nov. 21. The veteran has averaged 4.3 points and 2.9 rebounds in 14 outings.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Serge Ibaka: Probable Wednesday
Ibaka (illness) is probable for Wednesday's game against Sacramento. The veteran will have a chance to return to action after missing the past seven games with an illness. Ibaka last appeared Nov. 21 against the Trail Blazers and scored one point in four minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Serge Ibaka: Remains out
Ibaka (illness) will not play Monday at Orlando. The veteran big continues to miss time with a non-COVID illness and is without a timetable. Monday will mark his seventh straight absence.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Serge Ibaka: Out Saturday
Ibaka (illness) remains out Saturday against the Hornets. Ibaka hasn't played since Nov. 21. The bigger news is that Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee), Jrue Holiday (knee) and Khris Middleton (conditioning) are out, while Brook Lopez (rest) is questionable.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Serge Ibaka: Still out Friday
Ibaka (illness) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Lakers. Ibaka will be unavailable for a fifth consecutive game. His next chance to suit up will be Saturday against Charlotte.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Serge Ibaka: Out at New York
Ibaka (illness) is out for Wednesday's game against the Knicks. Ibaka will miss a fourth straight game. His next chance to return is Friday against the Lakers.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Serge Ibaka: Out Sunday
Ibaka (illness) is out Sunday against the Mavericks. Ibaka will sit out again Sunday, marking his second straight absence. His next chance to play is Wednesday at New York.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Serge Ibaka: Out Friday
Ibaka (illness) will not play Friday against the Cavaliers Ibaka holds a depth role in the frontcourt and has averaged just 11.4 minutes per game this season, which means Bobby Portis could be in line for a larger role. Ibaka's next chance to play will come on Sunday against Dallas.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Serge Ibaka: Unlikely to play Friday
Ibaka (illness) is likely out for Friday's game against the Cavaliers, Stephen Watson of Bally Sports reports. Ibaka is battling a non-COVID illness ahead of Friday's game. Ibaka's next opportunity to play will be Sunday's game against the Mavericks if he can't go against Cleveland.... See More ... See Less
