  • Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Out Saturday

Forbes is out Saturday against the Thunder due to gastroenteritis. Forbes plays a depth role for Minnesota, so his absence likely won't affect the rotation much. His next chance to see the floor arrives Wednesday against the Pacers.

  • Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Enters rotation Monday

Forbes produced zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt) across four minutes during Monday's 105-101 win over the Heat. Forbes saw four minutes of action in the win, the first time he has made it onto the floor in over a week. With the Timberwolves basically at full strength, Forbes has been unable to carve out a consistent role for himself. While he can have some limited streaming appeal at times, all signs point to him spending the majority of his time cheering on from the bench.

  • Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Biggest impact yet

Forbes registered 10 points (4-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt), three assists and three steals over 18 minutes during Friday's 114-103 loss to Memphis. Forbes set season-high marks in points and field goals attempted. Friday was just the second contest this season in which Forbes has logged 15-plus minutes. He's merely a change-of-pace option among Minnesota's bench guards.

  • Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Makes rare appearance Monday

Forbes accumulated three points (1-3 FG, 1-3 3Pt), one assist and one steal over eight minutes during Monday's 120-107 loss to the Knicks. Forbes saw action for just the seventh time this season, logging eight garbage time minutes in the loss. The Timberwolves certainly don't look to be a cohesive unit at the moment, highlighted by what was another disappointing loss. While Forbes can have some limited streaming appeal when given ample playing time, there is no indication that will be happening anytime soon.

  • Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Drills five triples in win

Forbes totaled 15 points (5-8 FG, 5-6 3Pt) and two rebounds in 17 minutes during Sunday's 119-117 victory over the Clippers. Forbes did what he needed to do in the win, connecting on a game-high five triples. With Malik Beasley now in Utah, Forbes will provide the Timberwolves with some much-needed scoring off the bench. His overall value is basically reliant on one category, making him just a streaming consideration in standard formats, should his playing time allow it.

  • Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Joins Minnesota

Forbes and the Timberwolves agreed to a contract Friday, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports. Forbes helps make up for some depth lost in the Wolves' trade to acquire Rudy Gobert. Over the past two seasons, Forbes has shot 43.4 percent from three on 4.4 attempts per game. It's possible he sees a marginal increase in role compared to his time in Denver last season, where he saw 17.1 minutes per game.

  • Nuggets' Bryn Forbes: Starting against Lakers

Forbes is starting Sunday's game against the Lakers. Since several Nuggets starters will be unavailable Sunday, Forbes will make his second start of the year during the regular-season finale. He's averaged just 2.0 points in 7.0 minutes per game across his last four appearances.

  • Nuggets' Bryn Forbes: Sinks to irrelevance

Forbes totaled zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one rebound and one steal over five minutes during Monday's 113-109 win over the Hornets. Forbes has averaged 1.6 points, 1.0 assists and 0.8 rebounds across his last five games -- a far cry from the 10.5 points per game he averaged in his first 18 appearances for Denver. The emergence of Bones Hyland is a factor, but Forbes simply isn't a meaningful contributor at this time.

  • Nuggets' Bryn Forbes: Contributes off bench Wednesday

Forbes amassed 11 points (4-11 FG, 3-8 3Pt) and one rebound over 16 minutes during Wednesday's 106-100 victory over the Kings. Forbes has struggled with consistency, but there's no question his scoring ability and his three-point shooting can provide a lift to the Nuggets' second unit on any given game. He's scored in double digits in three of his last six outings.

  • Nuggets' Bryn Forbes: Drains five triples in loss

Forbes notched 18 points (5-12 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 3-4 FT), one rebound, three assists and one block across 27 minutes during Wednesday's 119-107 loss to Oklahoma City. Forbes took all but one of his shot attempts from beyond the arc, and he finished with five three-pointers for the second straight contest. As usual, the sharpshooter contributed little else in the box score, though his three assists were his most since Feb. 6. Forbes' lack of peripheral stats makes him difficult to roster in fantasy despite his long-range ability.

  • Nuggets' Bryn Forbes: Catches fire from downtown

Forbes posted 17 points (6-10 FG, 5-6 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and one steal across 25 minutes Sunday in the Nuggets' 124-92 win over the Trail Blazers. Forbes hit at least five three-pointers in a game for the fourth time this season, but as was the case in each of those other three contests, he offered little supporting production. Even if Forbes captures a consistent 25-plus-minute role for an extended period of time, he should be viewed as little more than an elite streaming option for three-pointers.

  • Nuggets' Bryn Forbes: Scores 22 points in win

Forbes posted 22 points (8-12 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and one steal over 30 minutes during Wednesday's 117-116 win over the Warriors. Forbes was Denver's second-leading scorer behind Nikola Jokic (35 points) in the contest. The reserve guard notched his second game of 20-plus points so far in February and led all players with four three-pointers. Forbes has the ability to get hot from deep on occasion, but his inconsistency and lack of peripheral stats make him difficult to roster in most fantasy leagues.

  • Nuggets' Bryn Forbes: Lands three triples in win

Forbes logged 16 points (5-7 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and two assists across 20 minutes during Monday's 121-111 victory over Orlando. Forbes played his role to perfection in the win, coming off the bench with 16 points in 20 minutes. The Nuggets acquired him to provide them with another scoring punch as they look to push higher in the standings. While this was an encouraging performance, Forbes doesn't have value in most 12-team leagues as anything other than a streamer for three-pointers.

  • Nuggets' Bryn Forbes: Big 26-point explosion falls short

Forbes registered 26 points (10-13 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), one rebound and two assists over 30 minutes during Wednesday's 108-104 loss to the Jazz. Forbes was the offensive star for a shorthanded Nuggets squad that was missing Nikola Jokic (toe), Aaron Gordon (hamstring) and DeMarcus Cousins (foot) on Wednesday. He notched his second-highest point total of the campaign on an uber-efficient 10-for-13 mark from the field. Forbes has shown the ability to get hot from deep and pour in points in bunches, but he doesn't contribute much in the way of peripheral stats and isn't likely to see consistent enough playing time to warrant a roster spot in most fantasy leagues moving forward.

  • Nuggets' Bryn Forbes: Solid showing off bench

Forbes ended with 14 points (5-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 25 minutes during Friday's 116-105 win over the Pelicans. With Will Barton (illness) sidelined, Forbes played his most minutes (25) since joining the Nuggets. He made the most of the opportunity by being efficient from the field en route to his second double-digit outing with Denver. In five games with his new squad, Forbes is averaging 8.6 points and 1.0 assists in 19.6 minutes.

  • Nuggets' Bryn Forbes: Returns to life

Forbes contributed 14 points (5-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist in 25 minutes during Friday's 116-105 victory over the Pelicans. Prior to Friday's solid 14-point performance, Forbes had put forth two duds -- combining for eight points, three assists, and no other stats while shooting 3-for-13 from the field. Consistently supplying barren stats outside of points and threes, Friday represents a realistic expectation for Forbes' production in Denver.

  • Nuggets' Bryn Forbes: Set to play Friday

Forbes is expected to be available for Friday's game against the Grizzlies, Mike Singer of The Denver Post reports. Forbes was acquired from the Spurs earlier this week and is poised to make his debut for the Nuggets on Friday. The 28-year-old averaged 9.1 points, 1.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.6 threes in 16.9 minutes for San Antonio this season, and he figures to fill a similar role with Denver given his strong shooting (41.7 percent) from deep.

  • Nuggets' Bryn Forbes: Won't debut Wednesday

Forbes (not injury related) is unavailable for Wednesday's game against the Clippers, Harrison Wind of reports. Forbes was traded from the Spurs to the Nuggets on Tuesday but isn't yet ready to make his team debut. His next chance to suit up for his new team will be Friday against the Grizzlies.

  • Nuggets' Bryn Forbes: Dealt to Nuggets

The Nuggets acquired Forbes on Tuesday in a three-team deal that sent Juancho Hernangomez and a 2028 second-round pick to the Spurs sand Bol Bol (foot) and PJ Dozier (knee) to the Celtics, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. After a failed trade with Detroit involving Bol, Denver found a new suitor for him while also getting back a capable three-point shooter to deploy alongside star center Nikola Jokic. Forbes is shooting over 40 percent from distance (41.7 percent) for a second straight season, with the shooting guard averaging 9.1 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 16.9 minutes. With the Nuggets, he'll be competing for minutes with Austin Rivers, Facundo Campazzo and Bones Hyland.

  • Spurs' Bryn Forbes: Heads to bench

Forbes will come off the bench Sunday against the Nets. Forbes started Friday against the 76ers and will shift back to the bench after putting up seven points (3-14 FG, 1-7 3Pt), five rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 31 minutes. Lonnie Walker will replace him in the starting five versus Brooklyn.
