Hornets' Jalen McDaniels: Dealt to Philadelphia
The Hornets traded McDaniels to the 76ers on Thursday in a three-team deal that also included the Trail Blazers, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
The 76ers will acquire second-round picks in 2024 and 2029 in the deal, while Portland receives Matisse Thybulle and Charlotte gets Svi Myhailiuk as well as second-round picks in 2023 and 2027. McDaniels averaged 10.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.2 steals in 26.7 minutes across 56 games for the Hornets this season, but he could be in store for a smaller role in Philadelphia.
