  • Rockets' Trevor Hudgins: Disappoints against Ignite

Hudgins logged 15 points (6-22 FG, 4-14 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five assists, three steals, two rebounds and one block across 42 minutes during Rio Grande Valley's 114-107 loss to the G League Ignite on Saturday. Before playing the Ignite, Hudgins averaged 22.7 points across his previous 11 G League games. Hudgins' performance Saturday was subpar by his standards. Hudgins will try to redeem himself when Rio Grande Valley hosts Mexico City on Tuesday.

Hudgins logged 26 points (8-16 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal across 42 minutes during Rio Grande Valley's 110-107 win Friday against the Ignite. • Rockets' Trevor Hudgins: Makes eight three-pointers

Hudgins logged 28 points (9-17 FG, 8-15 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight assists, one rebound and one steal across 40 minutes during the Vipers' 128-122 win at Salt Lake City on Tuesday. Hudgins has been one of the G League's best three-point shooters since its showcase back in December. Impressively, he is averaging 4.8 three-pointers made across six games. Hudgins' output has been great enough that he is expected to be in contention for NBA promotion if the Houston Rockets need a temporary addition to their roster.

  • Rockets' Trevor Hudgins: Drains nine three-pointers

  • Rockets' Trevor Hudgins: Launches from deep

Hudgins racked up 24 points (9-19 FG, 9-17 3Pt,), four rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks over 39 minutes Monday versus Widy City. Hudgins showed out in a big way during the showcase, but it wasn't enough to earn the Vipers the win in this one. Hudgins' nine conversions from deep fell just one shy of his season-high mark, and he converted at an impressive 52.9 percent clip despite the heavy volume. He should continue to log heavy minutes with the Vipers but has yet to unlock much playing time with the Rockets.

  • Rockets' Trevor Hudgins: Heads back to G League

The Rockets sent Hudgins to G League Rio Grande Valley on Friday, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chroniclee reports. Hudgins has appeared in just one game for the Rockets in 2022-23 but has played much more with the team's G League affiliate. He will likely continue to move between the two levels but should see most of his playing time with the Vipers.

  • Rockets' Trevor Hudgins: Returns from G League

The Rockets recalled Hudgins from the G League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Sunday, Lachard Binkley of TheDreamShake.com reports. Hudgins, one of the Rockets' two-way players, is back with the parent club ahead of Sunday's game against the Bucks, but that's not necessarily an indication that he'll even be active for the contest. The undrafted rookie out of Northwest Missouri State has made just one appearance for Houston this season, a four-minute cameo in Milwaukee on Oct. 22.

  • Rockets' Trevor Hudgins: Leads team in scoring Thursday

Hudgins compiled 20 points (6-18 FG, 5-14 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five assists, two steals and a rebound over 29 minutes Thursday versus Austin. Hudgins wasn't particularly efficient from deep in this one but is shooting 39.5 percent from beyond the arc on the year. He also leads the team with 6.0 assists per game, but he's struggled from the field overall, connecting on just 41.3 percent of his attempts.

  • Rockets' Trevor Hudgins: Barrage from deep Wednesday

Hudgins compiled 29 points (10-20 FG, 7-16 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three assists, two turnovers and two steals over 40 minutes Wednesday versus Mexico City. Hudgins wasn't afraid to take his shots from deep in this one and posted solid efficiency overall, despite the heavy volume. Hudgins should remain one of the top scoring options when he's down with the Vipers.

  • Rockets' Trevor Hudgins: Returned to G League

Hudgins was sent back to the G League on Tuesday, Adam Spolane of Sports Radio 610 Houston reports. Hudgins has appeared in just one contest all season, logging four minutes against the Bucks back on Oct. 22. He's unlikely to play much at the NBA level, barring injuries, and will likely move between the two frequently.

  • Rockets' Trevor Hudgins: Back with NBA team

The Rockets recalled Hudgins from the G League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Thursday, Adam Wexler of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports. The Vipers don't have another game until Thursday, so Hudgins and rookie first-round pick TyTy Washington will rejoin the NBA team to give the Rockets some added depth in the backcourt. Hudgins, a rookie two-way player, is unlikely to be included in head coach Stephen Silas' rotation Monday against the Clippers or Wednesday in Dallas before likely heading back to the G League.
