Nance (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the 76ers.
Head coach Doc Rivers initially relayed to reporters that Nance was technically available but would not play in Sunday's regular-season finale. However, he was ultimately ruled out on the injury report due to a right knee sprain. Cormac Ryan, Taurean Prince and Andre Jackson should all see an uptick in playing time due to Nance's absence. Nance started in six of his last nine outings with the Bucks, and over that span he averaged 8.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.7 threes over 28.4 minutes per contest.

Bucks' Pete Nance: Sitting out Friday

Bucks' Pete Nance: Productive in spot start
Rotowire
Nance closed Wednesday's 119-113 loss to the Rockets with 23 points (9-13 FG, 5-9 3Pt), three rebounds and one block over 40 minutes.
Nance is expected to play a bigger role in the final days of the regular season for a Milwaukee team that doesn't have anything to play for, and if he performs like he did Wednesday, he should be a solid fantasy option. He has started in four of Milwaukee's last five games, but he's averaging just 10.0 points and 4.2 boards per game in that stretch. There's a chance this 23-point output was just an outlier and not a sign of things to come.

Bucks' Pete Nance: Lands standard contract
Rotowire
The Bucks signed Nance to a multi-year standard contract Monday.
Nance joined the Bucks on a two-year, two-way pact last February. Since he had been active for 49 of his allotted 50 games at the NBA level as a two-way player, the Bucks elected to convert him to a standard contract to ensure he would be available for the rest of the season. In a corresponding move, Milwaukee has waived Cam Thomas. Over 37 appearances so far in 2025-26, Nance has averaged 4.5 points and 2.2 rebounds in 12.1 minutes per contest.

Bucks' Pete Nance: Steps up with 13 points off bench
Rotowire
Nance registered 13 points (5-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 30 minutes during Tuesday's 123-116 loss to the Cavaliers.
The two-way player matched a season high in minutes Tuesday, providing a lift off the bench. With Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) set to miss at least one week, it wouldn't be surprising to see the Bucks take an extended look at Nance, though he's eligible to appear in only three more games through the rest of the season while he remains signed to a two-way deal. The third-year forward still has several obstacles to climb for playing time, as the likes of Kyle Kuzma, Bobby Portis, Ousmane Dieng and Jericho Sims all remain heavily involved in the Milwaukee rotation.

Bucks' Pete Nance: Sees 22 minutes in loss
Rotowire
Nance registered six points (3-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and two steals in 22 minutes during Sunday's 130-91 loss to the Magic.
Nance saw a few extra minutes Sunday with Giannis Antetokounmpo resting, in addition to the lopsided score. If the Bucks continue to slide out of the playoff hunt, Nance is someone who could step into a larger role for Milwaukee.

Bucks' Pete Nance: Notches 11 points in win
Rotowire
Nance notched 11 points (4-6 FG, 3-5 3Pt), seven rebounds, two assists and one block across 24 minutes during Thursday's 110-93 win over the Thunder.
Myles Turner (calf) was held out for the final game before the All-Star break, but he's considered day-to-day. Jericho Sims saw 20 minutes with the starting group, but Nance was more effective in his 24-minute stint. Nance is trending up in deeper formats and is a player to monitor after the break.

Bucks' Pete Nance: Just short of double-double Tuesday
Rotowire
Nance finished Tuesday's 131-115 victory over the Bulls with 15 points (6-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt), eight rebounds and two assists over 27 minutes off the bench.
The third-year big man set a new season scoring high while falling a couple of boards shy of his first career double-double. Nance has seen a bigger role in the Bucks' frontcourt of late due to injuries, averaging 7.6 points, 4.0 boards, 1.3 threes, 0.9 assists and 0.7 steals in 17.7 minutes a contest over the last seven games. If the Bucks end up trading Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) ahead of the deadline, Nance could maintain or even increase that workload as the season progresses.

Bucks' Pete Nance: Gaining foothold in rotation
Rotowire
Nance logged 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-5 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 30 minutes Wednesday in the Bucks' 122-102 loss to the Thunder.
One of Milwaukee's two-way players, Nance has seen the majority of his playing time in the G League this season, but he seems to be building a case for a regular spot in the NBA rotation. After head coach Doc Rivers surprisingly turned to Nance for a 15-minute appearance in a two-point win over the Hawks on Monday, the 25-year-old big man doubled up his minutes count Wednesday while Myles Turner (ankle) was sidelined. Though he'll see a reduction in playing time if Turner is back for Friday's contest against the Nuggets, Nance likely did enough in the loss to the Thunder to maintain his spot on the second unit for at least one more game.

Bucks' Pete Nance: Paces Milwaukee in preseason win
Rotowire
Nance notched 15 points (5-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals across 17 minutes in Monday's 103-93 preseason win over the Heat.
Nance led the Bucks in scoring and three-pointers during an efficient performance. The two-way player bounced around in the 2024-25 campaign, appearing in 13 regular-season games (one start) between the Bucks and 76ers. He also played in 21 G League outings between the Wisconsin Herd, Cleveland Charge and Delaware Blue Coats, averaging 14.2 points, 6.3 assists, 2.8 assists and 1.3 blocks across 30.7 minutes per game. He's expected to spend most of his time with the Herd in the 2025-26 campaign.

Bucks' Pete Nance: Plays in garbage time
Rotowire
Nance scored two points (1-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt) in seven minutes in Thursday's 118-89 win over the Lakers.
Nance recorded his first points with the Bucks in their blowout win Monday. The 25-year-old signed a two-way deal on February 27 but has appeared in just two games that featured minimal playing time. The team's depth at center is currently shallow due to Bobby Portis being suspended and Jericho Sims (thumb) out for the regular season, but coach Doc Rivers has employed Giannis Antetokounmpo at the five instead of giving minutes to Nance.
