Bitadze continues to back up Wendell Carter at the center position and has been productive in limited playing time, averaging 5.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.5 steals and 1.3 blocks across 16.6 minutes. While it appears that Carter's role in the starting lineup has been cemented, Bitadze does provide a lot of value in the blocks and field-goal percentage categories. He would be a must-add if Carter were to miss time.

Bitadze's role backing up Wendell Carter is seemingly solidified, and while he did not produce much offensively, he was able to record three blocks and averages 1.3 swats this season. Bitadze will continue to come off the bench, and his value seems to stem purely from his ability to block shots.

Bitadze registered 15 points (7-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt), six rebounds, one steal and three blocks in 20 minutes during Saturday's 125-94 win over the Wizards.
Bitadze did the majority of his damage in the fourth quarter of a blowout, scoring all but four of his points in the final period. However, Saturday's showing marked season highs in scoring and blocks for the big man, which is a positive sign after he was held to six points and three boards in 13 minutes Wednesday in Charlotte. Bitadze remains stuck behind Wendell Carter at the center position, so unless Carter gets into foul trouble or picks up an injury, Bitadze's production will likely be limited.

Bitadze grabbed a team-high eight rebounds and knocked down a rare three-pointer. The 26-year-old center is likely to back up Wendell Carter to open this season, as Moritz Wagner is still recovering from a torn ACL he sustained in December 2024 and isn't guaranteed to return by Opening Night.
