Duarte posted no counting stats over zero minutes during Saturday's 98-91 loss to the Knicks. Duarte played just eight seconds in the loss, continuing his terrible season. He is well outside the top 300 for the season, often spending his entire evening sitting on the bench. Outside of some very specific streaming opportunities, Duarte can be safely ignored in most fantasy formats.... See More ... See Less

Kings' Chris Duarte: Emerges with 18 points Wednesday
Duarte ended with 18 points (7-14 FG, 4-8 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals over 26 minutes during Wednesday's 117-96 loss to the Nuggets. Duarte came into Wednesday averaging just 3.6 points in February, and he had logged more DNPs (six) than games played (five). However, the third-year pro got some extra run in the blowout loss and finished as Sacramento's second-leading scorer with a season-high 18 points. It remains to be seen if the performance will lead to more playing time for Duarte moving forward, but it was at least a positive performance in what has been an overall disappointing campaign for the 26-year-old.... Kings' Chris Duarte: Drills three-pointer in light run
Duarte scored three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and grabbed a rebound over eight minutes of court time in Wednesday's 102-98 win over the Nuggets. Duarte didn't play in Tuesday's 130-125 loss to Phoenix after being cleared to return from a three-game absence due to an ankle sprain, but the swingman cracked the rotation Wednesday in the second leg of a back-to-back set. Though he was able to knock down a three-pointer on his limited time on the court, Duarte isn't a lock to be a fixture on head coach Mike Brown's second unit when the Kings return to action coming out of the All-Star break.... Kings' Chris Duarte: Shakes ankle injury
Duarte (ankle) is available for Tuesday's game against Phoenix. Duarte will return from a three-game absence after suffering a right ankle sprain during pregame warmups of the Kings' loss to the Pistons on Feb. 7. Before missing time with the injury, Duarte had been on the outskirts of the rotation, so he may not be in store for any playing time Tuesday even though he's available.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Chris Duarte: Gets questionable tag for Tuesday
Duarte (ankle) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Suns, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports. Just last Thursday, the Kings relayed that Duarte wouldn't be evaluated for another 1-to-2 weeks due to a moderate right ankle sprain suffered one day earlier, but he evidently made quicker progress in his recovery than expected. Even if Duarte is ultimately cleared ahead of Tuesday's 10 p.m. ET tipoff, he's unlikely to be featured in head coach Mike Brown's rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Chris Duarte: Out at least one week
Duarte was diagnosed with a moderate right ankle sprain following an MRI on Thursday and will be re-evaluated in 7-to-14 days, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports. Given the timeline provided by the Kings, Duarte will most likely be held out through the All-Star break. The third-year wing has started 11 games for Sacramento this season but has been largely outside of head coach Mike Brown's rotation for the past month.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Chris Duarte: Out for Friday
Duarte (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Nuggets. Duarte rolled his ankle during Wednesday's game and will now hit the sidelines for Friday's game. He's not a large enough part of the rotation for his absence to impact fantasy hoops, though.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Chris Duarte: Rolls ankle, ruled out Wednesday
Duarte rolled his ankle during pregame warmups and won't play Wednesday against the Pistons, Chris Biderman of The Sacramento Bee reports. Considering Duarte has appeared in just two of Sacramento's last 11 games, his absence should have a minimal impact. His next chance to play will come Friday against Denver.... See More ... Kings' Chris Duarte: Joins starting five
Duarte is back in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the 76ers. Duarte was replaced by Kevin Huerter in the starting five for Tuesday's game against Detroit, but Huerter left that contest with an ankle issue and won't be available Friday. As a starter this season, Duarte holds averages of 6.1 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 three-pointers.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Chris Duarte: Moves back to bench
Duarte isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Pistons, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports. Duarte will be replaced by Kevin Huerter in the starting five Tuesday. Duarte has averaged 1.8 points and 1.2 rebounds in 8.2 minutes across his last 10 appearances coming off the bench.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Chris Duarte: Scores a single point
Duarte notched one point (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and one assist over 15 minutes during Sunday's 133-100 loss to the Pelicans. Duarte had one of his toughest showings of the season, but to be fair, the entire starting lineup outside of Domantas Sabonis struggled. Meanwhile, Kevin Huerter had some success off the bench, scoring 17 points in 24 minutes. In 10 starts this season, Duarte holds averages of 6.1 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 three-pointers.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Chris Duarte: Moves into starting lineup
Duarte will move into the starting lineup for Sunday's game versus the Grizzlies, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports. Coach Mike Brown hinted at a starting lineup change during the morning shootaround, and it will be Duarte who replaces Kevin Huerter. It remains to be seen if this is just a temporary change, as Huerter has 104 starts to his name over the past two seasons. In five starts this season, Duarte holds averages of 6.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 three-pointers.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Chris Duarte: Good to go against Phoenix
Duarte (knee) is available for Friday's game versus the Suns. Duarte has been upgraded from questionable to available Friday after missing Sacramento's previous two contests with a knee injury. With the Kings practically at full strength, Duarte will likely be one of the team's first forward options off the bench.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Chris Duarte: Iffy for Friday
Duarte (knee) is questionable for Friday's game against the Suns. Duarte missed Monday's loss to the Pelicans but returned to practice Wednesday as a full participant. If he's out again, Sasha Vezenkov and Keon Ellis would be candidates for increased playing time versus the Suns.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Chris Duarte: Fully participates in practice
Duarte (knee) fully participated in Wednesday's practice session, Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento reports. Duarte was unavailable for Monday's game against the Pelicans due to a knee injury, but it was encouraging to see him return to practice a few days later. It's unclear whether he'll be available Friday against Phoenix, but he seems to be trending in the right direction.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Chris Duarte: Ruled out Monday
Duarte (knee) will not play in Monday's game against the Pelicans, Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento reports. Duarte was available for Sacramento's previous game, though he never saw the floor. His absence will likely open up a few more bench minutes for Sasha Vezenkov and Keon Ellis.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Chris Duarte: Questionable for Monday
Duarte (knee) is questionable for Monday's game against the Pelicans. Duarte did not play in the team's last game after starting the previous four games, but he wasn't given an injury tag. Duarte is now listed as questionable for Monday's In-Season Tournament quarterfinal with left knee soreness, which could be an explanation for him not being featured against the Bulls. Then again, Duarte posted averages of 4.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.5 assists in 17.3 minutes per game over those four starts, so the team may have just been trying out a new rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Chris Duarte: Good to go Wednesday
Duarte (thumb) is available and in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Pelicans, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports. Duarte has been upgraded from questionable to available Wednesday despite dealing with left thumb soreness. With Keegan Murray (back) out, Duarte could be in store for extended playing time.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Chris Duarte: Won't return after all
Duarte (hand) has been ruled out for the rest of Monday's game against the Pelicans, Deuce Mason of NBC Sports California reports. It was initially reported that Duarte had been cleared for the second half after going down with a hand injury, but the team later announced that he'll be shut down for the rest of the evening.... See More ... See Less -
Kings' Chris Duarte: Cleared to return
Duarte (hand) is available to return to Monday's game against New Orleans, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports. Duarte exited late in the first half after suffering a hand injury. However, he has been cleared to return to action Monday, potentially indicating a minor affliction.... See More ... See Less
