• Clippers' RayJ Dennis: Joining Clippers on two-way deal

  The Clippers signed Dennis to a two-way contract Wednesday, Law Murray of The Athletic reports. After Chris Paul's acrimonious departure from Los Angeles, the Clippers needed another point guard on the roster, and Dennis fits the bill. Dennis is expected to join the team in Memphis, so he may be available for Friday's game.

• RayJ Dennis: Let go by Indiana

  The Pacers waived Dennis on Sunday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports. Dennis signed a two-year, two-way contract with the club in January but will now have to explore other opportunities. In a corresponding move, the Pacers have signed Ethan Thompson to a two-way pact. Dennis appeared in a career-high 13 NBA games this season, during which he averaged 4.9 points and 2.0 assists across 12.9 minutes per contest.

• Pacers' RayJ Dennis: Reduced role continues

  Dennis accumulated zero points (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist across five minutes during Saturday's 117-100 loss to Denver. Dennis logged five minutes for the second straight game, continuing to see his role reduce as the Pacers start to get healthy players back into the rotation. Given he has now played fewer than 10 minutes in three consecutive contests, fantasy managers can safely move on in all formats.

• Pacers' RayJ Dennis: Expected to play Monday

  Head coach Rick Carlisle said Dennis (back) is expected to play in Monday's game against the Bucks, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports. Dennis is expected to shed his questionable tag due to a low-back sprain and suit up against Milwaukee. The two-way player has appeared in five of Indiana's six regular-season games thus far, averaging 9.2 points, 4.6 assists and 2.8 rebounds in 25.6 minutes per game.

Dennis sat out Thursday's game, the front end of the Pacers' back-to-back, but will return to action Friday for their Summer League finale. He appeared in 11 regular-season games last season, averaging 2.7 points, 1.3 assists and 1.1 rebounds in 6.4 minutes per contest.

Dennis has started three contests for the Pacers in the Summer League, and the team has decided to give some of their other young players an extended look Thursday. Through three outings this summer, the two-way player has averaged 16.0 points, 6.0 assists, 2.3 steals and 2.3 three-pointers in 27.7 minutes per contest.
