  • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Early season struggles continue

Sharpe amassed zero points (0-1 FG) and four rebounds across four minutes during Sunday's 116-103 loss to the Lakers. Sharpe barely saw the floor in the loss, playing fewerthan five minutes for the fifth consecutive game. Even with Nicolas Claxton leaving early due to an eye injury, Sharpe was unable to make the most of what could have been a nice opportunity. Despite a small amount of upside, Sharpe can obviously be ignored in just about every format.

  • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Doesn't see floor Thursday

Sharpe was not in the rotation during Thursday's loss to the Mavericks. Sharpe split minutes with Nicolas Claxton to begin the year, but he was out of the rotation entirely Thursday after playing just 13 minutes Wednesday. He may get back in Saturday, but the Nets have been getting healthier, so minutes will be tougher to come by. Claxton is also playing well.

  • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Splits minutes with Claxton

Sharpe posted four points (1-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals across 23 minutes during Wednesday's 130-108 loss to New Orleans. Nicolas Claxton started and played 25 minutes, but Sharpe was, surprisingly, right behind him with 23 minutes. Sharpe was unselected in essentially every fantasy draft, but his rebounding ability nearly ensures he'll have deep-league value if he continues to see 20-plus minutes. Brooklyn is still waiting for some guys to get healthy, like Joe Harris (ankle), Seth Curry (ankle) and T.J. Warren (foot), while Ben Simmons saw just 23 minutes in the opener. The rotation is a bit murky. Still, put Sharpe on your watchlist if you're in a 16-teamer.

  • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Team option picked up

Brooklyn exercised Sharpe's third-year team option Monday, which keeps him under contract through the 2023-24 campaign, Alex Schiffer of The Athletic reports. Sharpe started eight of his 32 appearances for the Nets as a rookie and averaged 6.2 points and 5.0 rebounds across 12.2 minutes per game. With Andre Drummond gone, Sharpe could operate as the top center behind Nicolas Claxton, but it's also likely the Nets opt to run Ben Simmons at the five in certain lineups.

  • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Sharp in preseason finale

Sharpe tallied 15 points (5-9 FG, 5-5 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist and one steal across 25 minutes Friday in a 112-102 victory versus the Timberwolves. Sharpe led Brooklyn reserves with 25 minutes and notched the team's only double-double in the exhibition win. The second-year center played in four preseason contests, averaging 9.5 points, 7.2 boards and 1.8 steals over 18.5 minutes. He's in line to back up Nicolas Claxton at center during the regular season, and he's likely to see more than the 12.2 minutes per game he averaged as a rookie last year.

  • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Rebound short of double-double

Sharpe produced 15 points (7-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and one block in Tuesday's 133-116 loss to the Blue Coats. Sharpe was one of six to top double-digit points in the loss and finished a rebound short of a double-double. The big man finished out the second half of the season averaging 18.8 points and 13.1 rebounds in 31.9 minutes through 10 games.

  • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Recalled to NBA club

Sharpe was recalled from the G League's Long Island Nets to Brooklyn on Wednesday, Alec Sturm of NetsDaily.com reports. Long Island was eliminated from the G League playoffs following a 133-116 loss to the Delaware Blue Coats on Tuesday. Sharpe hasn't appeared in an NBA contest since Feb. 28, and with the Nets fighting for playoff positioning, it's unlikely the rookie big man cracks the rotation during the final three games of the regular season.

  • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Back in G League

Brooklyn assigned Sharpe to the G League's Long Island Nets on Monday, Christian Arnold of the Associated Press reports. Sharpe put up 15 points (7-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 14 rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 25 minutes in Thursday's 114-99 victory over Raptors 905. • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Double-double in G League defeat

Sharpe tallied 16 points (7-14 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-3 FT), 11 rebounds, six assists, a block and a steal across 32 minutes in Saturday's 139-119 loss to the Greensboro Swarm. Sharpe averages a double-double (19.5 points, 12.6 rebounds) per game when he suits up for Long Island in the G League, though he should be shooting better from the free throw line, as he's making just 47.8 percent of his free throws this season. He has been recalled to the Brooklyn Nets ahead of Thursday's game against the Bucks.

  • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Returns to NBA squad

Sharpe was recalled from the G League's Long Island Nets on Wednesday, Christian Arnold of the Associated Press reports. The rookie first-round pick totaled 21 points (9-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-4 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 28 minutes. He'll likely serve as a depth piece for Brooklyn, as its frontcourt is finally back to full strength.

  • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Back in G League

Brooklyn assigned Sharpe to the G League's Long Island Nets on Tuesday, Christian Arnold of the Associated Press reports. With LaMarcus Aldridge (hip) back in action, the Nets have less of a need to keep Sharpe around as center depth ahead of Tuesday's game against the Pistons. Instead, Sharpe will see extended minutes for Long Island in its game Tuesday versus the Windy City Bulls.

  • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Recalled to Brooklyn

Sharpe was recalled to the Nets from their G League affiliate Sunday, Christian Arnold of the Associated Press reports. Sharpe hasn't appeared in an NBA contest since February, so it's unclear if he'll be a part of Brooklyn's rotation. The rookie put up a handful of monster performances during his most recent stint in the G League, including a 30-point, 22 rebound double-double against the Westchester Knicks.

  • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Sent to G League

Sharpe was assigned to the G League by the Nets on Friday, Chris Milholen of NetsDaily.com reports.
