Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Plays 27 minutes in preseason win
Oghodaro tallied 12 points (6-8 FG), five assists, four rebounds, one steal and one block across 27 minutes in Sunday's 118-114 preseason win over the Lakers.
Ohhodaro's 27 minutes of playing time were the most on Phoenix on Sunday, and he was one of seven Suns players to score in double digits. The rookie second-round pick is competing against Mason Plumlee and Bol Bol for backup minutes at center behind starter Jusuf Nurkic (finger).

Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Dishes out nine assists
Ighodaro logged four points (2-3 FG), nine assists, five rebounds and a block across 26 minutes of Saturday's 87-77 loss to the Kings in Summer League.
Ighodaro hasn't been lighting up the point column during Summer League, but he's flashed his ability to make winning plays. He's shot 13-for-26 from the field in five Summer League appearances while averaging 6.0 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.4 combined steals-plus-blocks per game. The Marquette product could push Mason Plumlee for minutes behind starter Jusuf Nurkic this season.

Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Drafted by Phoenix
The Suns drafted Ighodaro with the No. 40 overall pick in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Ighodaro spent the last four years at Marquette before declaring for the NBA Draft. As a senior in 2023-24, he averaged 13.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.1 steals in 36 games. At 6-10, Ighodaro has the size and all-around skillset to contribute right away in the frontcourt, likely making him the backup center to Jusuf Nurkic.
