The Grizzlies waived Hall on Sunday, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
Hall was on a two-way contract with Memphis, but the team is letting him go to make room for rookie second-round pick Jahmai Mashack. The second-year center had appeared in seven of the Grizzlies' first 14 games, averaging 1.9 points and 1.3 rebounds in 3.9 minutes.

Hall made what could be a rare appearance, sliding into the rotation as a result of what ended up being an embarrassing loss. Hall signed a two-way contract with the Grizzlies back in July, following a decent showing in the 2025 Summer League, where he played for the Hornets. While it was nice to see Hall on the floor, it is unlikely he features on a nightly basis.

Hall never logged double-digit minutes in a game during his rookie campaign after joining the Nuggets on a two-way contract. The Clemson product spent the majority of his time with the G League's Grand Rapids Gold, averaging 18.9 points, 11.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.1 blocks and 0.8 steals across 32.0 minutes per game in 20 regular-season appearances. The 23-year-old big man is set to become a restricted free agent this offseason.

Nuggets' PJ Hall: Joins Denver on two-way deal

Hall signed a two-way contract with the Nuggets following Thursday's second round of the NBA Draft, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Hall will get some developmental time in the G League with the hopes of seeing some NBA action. The 22-year-old out of Clemson isn't a great defender but does all the right things on offense, including being able to set screens, handle the ball and shoot threes.
