Kings' Corey Brewer: Return to Sacramento official
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brewer officially signed with the Kings on Tuesday.

As expected, Brewer and the Kings have partnered up for the season's restart in Orlando. He hasn't played this season, and he last saw action in the NBA when he was with Sacramento during the final two months of the 2018-19 campaign. Brewer will likely have a minor role with the team.

Corey Brewer: Likely to join Sacramento
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brewer is expected to sign with the Kings when the NBA's transaction window opens Tuesday at noon ET, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Brewer has been out of basketball throughout the 2019-20 campaign while waiting for an NBA opportunity to open up, and it appears the late-July season restart will give him the chance to continue his career. He's reportedly chosen an offer from the Kings -- with whom he played the final two months of the 2018-19 season -- over ones from multiple clubs who will head to Orlando for the 22-team restart. Look for him to fill a minor role as a depth wing for the Kings for the remainder of the campaign.

Kings' Corey Brewer: Ready to roll
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brewer (groin) has been cleared to play Friday against the Jazz.

Brewer was previously considered questionable with a sore right groin, but the veteran evidently feels good enough to come off the bench. He's averaging 4.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists over his last five games.

Kings' Corey Brewer: Questionable Friday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brewer is questionable for Friday's game against the Jazz due to a sore right groin, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Brewer took a hard fall during Thursday's game and is dealing with some pain. If he ends up sidelined Friday, Bogdan Bogdanovic could see some more time.

Kings' Corey Brewer: Plays 20 minutes in Sunday's win
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brewer totaled six points (2-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block in 20 minutes during Sunday's 113-106 win over the Spurs.

Brewer contributed across every category. However, he went the entire month of March (16 appearances) without reaching double figures in scoring once. The 33-year-old veteran has maintained a decent role considering the team has already been eliminated from playoff contention. Still, he's really only worthy of consideration in the very deepest formats.

Kings' Corey Brewer: To sign for rest of season
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brewer will sign with the Kings for the remainder of the season Thursday, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Brewer's second 10-day contract expired today, so the Kings have decided to keep the veteran around for the remainder of their playoff push. While Brewer doesn't offer much in terms of offensive production, he's still proven to be a serviceable defender and high-energy guy in Sacramento. He'll likely continue playing a limited role off the bench for the Kings this season.

Kings' Corey Brewer: Available vs. Timberwolves
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brewer (eye) is available to play Monday against the Timberwolves, Jason Jones of The Athletic reports.

Brewer has been cleared to play despite entering the day with a doubtful tag. The veteran has appeared in just one game for the Kings over the last two weeks, notching 11 points in 13 minutes off the bench.

Kings' Corey Brewer: Game-time call Monday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brewer (eye) will be a game-time decision Monday against the Timberwolves, Jason Jones of The Athletic reports.

Brewer was originally listed as doubtful, but it sounds like he could play Monday if he checks out OK during warmups. The veteran has played a limited role during his time with the Kings, so his availability won't affect Sacramento's rotation too much either way.

Kings' Corey Brewer: Doubtful vs. Minnesota
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brewer is unlikely to play Monday against the Timberwolves due to a right ocular injury.

Brewer failed to play in Saturday's matchup against Oklahoma City, although it's unclear if it was due to this same eye injury. Assuming Brewer won't take the court, expect Bogdan Bogdanovic, Marvin Bagley and Nemanja Bjelica to see more minutes.

Kings' Corey Brewer: Re-ups with Kings
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brewer signed a 10-day contract with the Kings on Monday.

Brewer didn't appear in a game during his first 10-day stint with the Kings, so he doesn't figure to play a large role in his second go-around. Once his upcoming 10-day contract expires, Sacramento will need to either sign Brewer for the remainder of the season or cut him loose.

Brewer is available to play in Friday's contest against Miami, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

After signing a 10-day contract with the Kings on Thursday, it appears as though the veteran will make his debut with his new team during the matchup versus the Heat on Friday.

Kings' Corey Brewer: Set to join Sacramento
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brewer is expected to sign a 10-day contract with the Kings, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Brewer showed some life during his last stint with the 76ers, and he posted averages of 7.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.7 steals through seven contests. He'll add a much-needed veteran presence to Sacramento's locker room and will have 10 days to prove to the Kings that he's worth a contract for the remainder of the season.

Corey Brewer: Let go by Sixers
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brewer became a free agent Monday after the Sixers declined to sign him for the remainder of the season, Jon Johnson of Sports Radio 94WIP in Philadelphia reports.

Brewer signed on with the Sixers midway through January on a 10-day deal, and he inked a second 10-day contract that officially expired on Monday. Per league rules, the Sixers had to either sign Brewer for the remainder of the season or release him to the free agent pool, and they've elected to do the latter -- perhaps signaling that they hope to fill a need on the wing via trade or buyout. Brewer appeared in seven games for the Sixers, making three starts and averaging 7.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 20 minutes per game.

76ers' Corey Brewer: Coming off bench Tuesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brewer will come off the bench Tuesday against the Lakers.

With Jimmy Butler sidelined, Brewer has started the past three games, averaging 13.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 1.7 assists in 31.0 minutes. However, Butler is healthy and being re-inserted into the starting five, pushing Brewer to the bench. He's expected to see a reduction in workload as a result.

76ers' Corey Brewer: Scores 20 points in spot start
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brewer finished with 20 points (7-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, four steals, and two assists in 32 minutes during Saturday's 126-110 loss to the Nuggets.

Brewer scored a season-high 20 points Saturday, continuing to play big minutes for the injury-plagued 76ers. Much like he did last season for the Thunder, Brewer is providing some nice production during his time on the floor and one would think he will be given a contract for the rest of the season based on his ability to fill a number of roles. As long as he is starting he is worth considering if you need threes and steals.

76ers' Corey Brewer: Primed for another 10-day deal
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brewer will sign a 10-day contract with the 76ers on Friday, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

With Jimmy Butler nursing a wrist injury, Brewer's stay with the 76ers was extended. The veteran has started each of the past two games with Butler unavailable, averaging 10.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 3.0 blocks/steals per game during those appearances. Once his upcoming 10-day contract expires, Philadelphia will need to either sign Brewer for the remainder of the season or cut him loose.

76ers' Corey Brewer: Starting again Wednesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brewer will start Wednesday's game against the Spurs, Serena Winters of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

With Jimmy Butler (wrist) out again Wednesday, Brewer will get his second straight start after an impressive outing in Monday's blowout win over the Rockets. Brewer played 33 minutes and recorded 11 points, three rebounds, two steals and two blocks in that time. After being tasked with defending James Harden on Monday, Brewer will likely take on the assignment of guarding DeMar DeRozan to start out Wednesday.

76ers' Corey Brewer: Fills stat sheet in Monday's win
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brewer contributed 11 points (5-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, two steals, two blocks, and one assist in 33 minutes during Monday's 121-93 win over the Rockets.

Brewer started in place of Jimmy Butler (wrist) and played well, hounding James Harden defensively for most of the contest. Butler's injury isn't expected to keep him sidelined long. With that being said, if Butler remains out for Wednesday's matchup with the Spurs, Brewer could be in line to draw another start, as the 76ers will be looking to keep DeMar DeRozan in check.

76ers' Corey Brewer: Set to start Monday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brewer will start Monday's game against the Rockets, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The veteran signed a 10-day contract with the Sixers less than a week ago, but with Jimmy Butler out Monday, he'll be thrust into the starting lineup at small forward. Brewer saw eight minutes of action against Minnesota on Jan. 15, but he's been a DNP-CD in each of the last two games.

76ers' Corey Brewer: Inks 10-day contract
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brewer signed a 10-day contract with the 76ers on Tuesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Brewer was brought on board to provide additional wing depth for the 76ers while offering a veteran presence in the locker room. Should the 32-year-old prove his fitness, he could stick with the team beyond his 10-day deal. Brewer posted averages of 5.3 points and 2.1 rebounds across 16.8 minutes per game with the Lakers and Thunder in 2018.
