Bolden scored 14 points (5-6 FG, 4-5 3Pt) and collected four rebounds along with an assist and two blocks across 16 minutes Tuesday against Minnesota.
Bolden took advantage of his opportunities off the bench, knocking down 80.0 percent of his threes in a 149-107 drubbing. The 23-year-old forward hasn't warranted much fantasy appeal so far this season, averaging just 3.2 points and 3.5 rebounds in 19 matchups. Don't expect this type of production from Bolden on a nightly basis.
Bolden will come off the bench Tuesday against the Wizards.
Bolden started the past two games with Wilson Chandler (illness) out, averaging 7.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.0 block in 22.5 minutes. With Chandler back in the starting five, Bolden will resume his usual role off the bench.
Bolden contributed 11 points (4-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-6 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, and two blocks in 29 minutes during Saturday's 106-100 win over the Mavericks.
Bolden finished with career highs in scoring, assists, and minutes while matching his best rebounding total as well. With Wilson Chandler and Jimmy Butler both dealing with illnesses, Bolden was among those to step up, earning 20-plus minutes for the third time in his last six appearances while making his second straight start at power forward. Bolden has moved ahead of veteran big man Amir Johnson on the depth chart, and he has also been outplaying Mike Muscala as of late. It's unlikely Bolden will keep seeing such ample minutes once Chandler and Butler return, but the 22-year-old rookie has been impressive nonetheless.
Bolden will start Saturday against the Mavericks, Serena Winters of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Wilson Chandler (illness) is out, so coach Brett Brown will opt to use Bolden at power forward to start off Saturday's contest. The rookie has seen an increased role over his past five appearances, averaging 5.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 19.0 minutes.
Bolden had four points (2-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), four rebounds, and two assists in 16 minutes during Wednesday's 132-127 win over the Suns.
Bolden drew the start with Wilson Chandler (illness) sidelined. However, Bolden couldn't stop fouling (four), and the Suns ran small-ball lineups that kept him off the court for most of the tilt.
