Terry tallied 15 points (7-14 FG, 1-2 FT), 15 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one blocked in the 126-115 loss to the Hustle on Monday.
This was Terry's second game back from an undisclosed injury, scoring 22 points to go along with 17 rebounds in the aforementioned Saturday contest. The center has quietly developed into a fixture for Sioux Falls, posting a double-double in terms of season averages (15.0 points, 10.1 rebounds).
Terry wasn't re-signed by the Heat after his 10-day contract expired Friday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Terry made just one appearance during his stint with Miami, playing just over three minutes of mop-up duty in a Feb. 23 loss to the Pistons. He'll remain with the organization's G League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
Terry was assigned to Miami's G-League affiliate, the Skyforce, on Tuesday.
Terry managed to check into Saturday's matchup with Detroit, logging three minutes and collecting one point, a rebound and an assist during his brief stint on the floor. He'll get more run in the G League and will be available for Tuesday night's matchup with Windy City.
Terry, who signed a 10-day contract with the Heat on Wednesday, will play with the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Thursday before joining Miami over the weekend. The big man has appeared in nine contests for the Skyforce this season, averaging 16.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists and a combined 2.4 steals/blocks across 30.7 minutes. Terry appeared in two games for the Suns while playing out a 10-day deal earlier in the year, tallying nine points, six rebounds, three steals and an assist across 20 minutes.
The Heat organization traded for Terry when he was in the G League, acquiring him from the Canton Charge. He's appeared in nine contests for the Sioux Falls Skyforce, averaging 16.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.1 blocks across 30.7 minutes. Earlier in the season, he signed a 10-day deal with Suns, and he appeared in two games for the team, racking up nine points, six boards, three steals and an assist across 20 minutes. Terry will look to build upon his previous NBA experience and attempt to find a permanent spot with Miami.
