Mavericks' Devin Harris: Scores 15 points Wednesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Harris recorded 15 points (6-12 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight assists, two rebounds and one steal across 20 minutes in Wednesday's 100-93 victory over the Grizzlies.

With the Mavs out of the playoff picture, the team used a little bit of everyone Wednesday, and Harris led the way with a team-high 15 points. He could've made more of a statement had he hit a few threes, but that's something he can aim to work on over the offseason as he looks to develop more on the offensive side of the ball to become a more utilized fantasy option next year.

Mavericks' Devin Harris: Active and available to play Wednesday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Harris will be active and available to play Wednesday against the Clippers, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.

The Mavericks were considering resting some of the veteran players on Wednesday, but instead, everyone will be active other than Seth Curry, who remains sidelined with a shoulder injury. That said, coach Rick Carlisle could still limit some of the minutes for the older players, as the Mavericks are eliminated from the playoffs and management may want to get a better look at the younger talent. Look for Harris to share backup point guard duties with J.J. Barea, while Yogi Ferrell figures to draw another start.

Mavericks' Devin Harris: Could be rested Wednesday vs. Clippers
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Harris is listed as questionable for a possible rest day Wednesday against the Clippers, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.

With the Mavericks officially out of playoff condition, coach Rick Carlisle has mentioned possibly resting veterans for the remainder of the season -- a category which Harris falls under. With Seth Curry (shoulder) and J.J. Barea (rest) also questionable, Yogi Ferrell could see heavy minutes if all three are ultimately sidelined. Wesley Matthews may also see time at point guard in that scenario as well.

Mavericks' Devin Harris: Pours in 14 off bench Saturday
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Harris contributed 14 points (3-8 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds and two assists over 23 minutes in Saturday's 100-98 loss to the Suns.

The veteran guard broke out for his best scoring total since Feb. 1, while seeing his highest amount of minutes in over a month. Harris' minutes have consistently been in the teens, and he's been providing serviceable production in the area of scoring and assists relative to the playing time he's seeing. He continues to be an option for those in deeper formats given his current modest but steady role, but he could be in for a playing time reduction as fellow guard J.J. Barea's minutes are ramped back up after his recent return from a 20-game absence due to a calf injury.

Mavericks' Devin Harris: Plays 13 minutes in Tuesday's win
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Harris supplied seven points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four assists and one steal across 13 minutes in a 122-111 win over the Lakers.

The Mavericks have had much volatility in their backcourt over the last month or so with J.J. Barea (calf) sidelined and Deron Williams having since been waived, but Harris hasn't seen his role affected in a major way. It seems as though coach Rick Carlisle isn't keen on regularly handing Harris more than 20 minutes, as he's been held under than mark nine times in the past 10 contests. With Barea expected to return from injury and reenter the rotation Friday against the Nets, Harris' chances of seeing his playing time pick up will only grow dimmer.
