Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas records 116 receiving yards

Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas caught eight passes for 116 yards on 14 targets in Thursday's 31-24 win over the Chiefs.
Thomas was having a mediocre night until he dominated the game-tying drive, making three difficult catches for 54 yards to set up a 19-yard touchdown to Emmanuel Sanders. The Denver passing game looked like its old dominant self on a couple of drives, but the overall picture was still far from rosy, with Peyton Manning, C.J. Anderson and the offensive line looking shaky for a second straight week.
Thomas and Sanders are obviously better off if the rest of the offense shapes up, but Denver's early struggles have at least led to increased reliance on the star wide receivers, with volume thus far (mostly) making up for middling efficiency.
