Browns sign QB Austin Davis; place CB Charles Gaines on IR

The Browns signed quarterback Austin Davis and placed cornerback Charles Gaines on injured reserve on Monday, per Ohio.com.

Davis was cut by the Rams earlier this week. Gaines will be eligible to return to practice in Week 6 and play in Week 8.
