The agent for Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn told the Associated Press that Quinn's second interview for the Falcons' head-coaching vacancy "went very well" and there's "definitely mutual interest." The interview took place Tuesday, two days after Seattle advanced to the Super Bowl.
Atlanta can't offer the job to Quinn until after the big game, per The News Tribune of Tacoma, Wash. CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora reports Quinn will bring Kyle Shanahan as his offensive coordinator.
Quinn is expected to name a fellow Seahawks assistant as defensive coordinator, according to NBC Washington.
Quinn and Seahawks coach Pete Carroll say Quinn's potential move won't distract the coaching staff or players as they prepare for the Patriots.
