Why the Eagles can cover

Philadelphia gained a tremendous amount of confidence with its comeback triumph against New York. With his team trailing 21-10 late in the fourth quarter, Wentz led a four-play, 78-yard drive that concluded with a three-yard touchdown toss to Greg Ward with 6:17 remaining. The Eagles failed on their two-point conversion attempt but got the ball back with just over two minutes left and drove 78 yards, with Wentz making an 18-yard TD pass to Boston Scott with 40 seconds to go that put the team ahead.

Scott finished with 92 all-purpose yards, while Wentz completed passes to eight different players as he amassed at least 350 yards (359) for the third time in his career. Richard Rodgers was highly involved in the offense against the Giants, making a team-high six catches after recording a total of nine over his first four games of the season. The 28-year-old tight end had a club-leading 85 receiving yards in the contest, his highest total since registering 146 against Detroit in 2015 while with Green Bay.

Why the Cowboys can cover

Running back Ezekiel Elliott has been one of the best running backs in the league this season. He ranks second in the NFL in rushing first downs (31), fifth in rushing touchdowns (five) and ninth in rushing yards (458). He also has 33 receptions for 210 yards and a touchdown.

On Sunday, he faces an Eagles defense that has given up 130.4 rushing yards per game, ninth-worst in the league. Dallas also has a history of success recently in Philadelphia. The Cowboys have won eight of the last 11 meetings between the teams at Lincoln Financial Field.

How to make Eagles vs. Cowboys picks

The model is leaning over the total as Elliott produces more than 100 yards from scrimmage and Wentz throws for almost 300 yards. It also says one side of the spread hits more than 50 percent of the time. You can only get the pick here
