Knowshon Moreno tore his ACL, still stayed in for one more play
Knowshon Moreno didn't let something small like a torn ACL keep him from finishing a Dolphins offensive drive on Sunday.

When the Dolphins announced on Tuesday that running back Knowshon Moreno was out for the season with a torn ACL, it came as a surprise to almost everyone because no one really knew that Moreno had been injured.
Teams are supposed to provide injury updates when a player is injured during a game, but the Dolphins didn't do that for Moreno in the team's 27-24 loss to Green Bay on Sunday.
The Dolphins claim they didn't know Moreno was injured, which might explain how he was able to stay in the game for one play after he tore his ACL.
It seems pretty clear that Moreno suffered the injury in the third quarter after catching a screen pass from quarterback Ryan Tannehill that went for eight yards. You can see the play below -- Moreno was pushed out of bounds and immediately reached for his knee.
After he suffered the injury, Moreno didn't leave the game though! If you watch the end of the play, he actually waves off Lamar Miller and decides he's healthy enough to stay in the game.
On the next play, the Dolphins were called for a false start, so that gave Moreno another chance to leave the game, but he still stayed in. The play after that was a third-and-7 that ended with a Tannehill 11-yard touchdown pass to Jarvis Landry.
The picture at the top of the page shows Moreno (28) pass blocking on that play. After the touchdown, Moreno didn't go back in the game, and now, his season is over.
