LOOK: Clay Matthews pulls fast one on Carson Palmer after drilling him
Carson Palmer will probably never reach for Clay Matthew's hand ever again.
Clay Matthews and Carson Palmer might have both gone to USC, but apparently, they're not friends.
Well, maybe they were friends, but they're probably not anymore after Matthews pulled a fast one on Palmer during the second quarter of Arizona's 38-8 win over the Packers.
On a second-and-goal play from Green Bay's 7-yard line, Palmer was drilled by Matthews just after throwing an incomplete pass.

Like any good sport, Matthews then offered to help Palmer up.

Actually, no, he didn't offer to help Palmer up. It was all a ruse.

Matthews pulled his hand away at the last second and left Palmer sulking on the ground, which was kind of mean because Sunday was Palmer's birthday and helping him up would've been a nice birthday present.
In the end though, Palmer gave himself a birthday present: He threw a touchdown pass on the next play, which gave the Cardinals a 17-0 halftime lead on their way to the 38-8 win.
