LOOK: Kaepernick has no interest in throwing to a wide-open receiver
Colin Kaepernick missed a wide open receiver on Sunday. Seriously, the Rams weren't even guarding Torrey Smith.
Earlier this week, Torrey Smith denied the report that claimed Colin Kaepernick is on "an island" in the 49ers' locker room. On Sunday, Kaepernick repaid Smith's loyalty by completely missing him when he was on an island against the Rams defense.
During the first quarter, the 49ers were backed up near their own end end zone. On first down, the 49ers handed the ball off for a loss of a yard. The result was even worse when considering Kaepernick had an unguarded Smith on the play.
Seriously, Smith is very open on the play.

Anyways, a few plays later, the 49ers were stopped in the end zone, giving the Rams two free points.
