The Minnesota Vikings drove right down the field on their first drive of the game to take a 7-0 lead on the Oakland Raiders. They punted on their second drive and, after picking off Derek Carr inside Oakland territory, moved right on down to the 2-yard line on a 17-yard run by Adrian Peterson, setting up first and goal.

Peterson was stuffed on first and goal, and then on second and goal, Teddy Bridgewater rolled out to his right, bought some time, and then lofted a perfect pass to tight end Kyle Rudolph, who was as wide open as any pass-catcher has ever been in the history of football. It was an easy touchdown that put the Vikings up by -- wait, nope.

Rudolph fails to hang on for the easy score. Why was he jumping? There's nobody near him. Anyway, Minnesota would not convert on third and goal either, instead settling for a field goal to make the score 10-0. We'll see if those four points they left on the board come back to haunt them.

Whoops. (NFL on FOX)
