Ordoff had been on Philadelphia's practice squad since Oct. 18, but he's now been let go in favor of Alex Ellis, a former tight end on the team. The 26-year-old will now have to look for a new opportunity.

Orndoff inked an undisclosed contract with the Buccaneers on Wednesday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
Orndoff has spent time with Pittsburgh, Detroit, Cincinnati and Jacksonville before latching on with the Buccaneers. He has never suited up in NFL action in his career, and the team released Donnie Ernsberger to make room for him on the roster.

An undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh in 2017, Orndoff spent the bulk of last season on Cincinnati's practice squad. He was cut loose by the Bengals earlier this month, but didn't have to wait long to find a new home. The 6-foot-4, 253-pound tight end will take the roster spot of the injured Zach Conque (undisclosed), who was waived in a corresponding move.

The Bengals signed Orndoff to a reserve/future contract Monday, Laurel Pfahler of the Dayton Daily News reports.
Orndoff finished the 2017 campaign as a member of the Cincinnati practice squad and will likely get a shot to compete for a roster spot in training camp this summer. The Pittsburgh product is still awaiting his NFL debut after going undrafted last April.
