The Tulane product latched on with the Raiders in early August, but, as evidenced by this news, he'll have to find a home elsewhere. Since coming into the league as a Vikings sixth-round pick in 2018, Aruna has never seen regular-season action.

The Vikings waived Aruna (knee) from IR with an injury settlement Thursday, freelance NFL writer Howard Balzer reports.
Aruna will be free to sign elsewhere in the league when back to full health. The 2018 sixth-round pick is working to recover from a knee injury sustained before his rookie season.

Aruna had to be carted off the field during Saturday's exhibition game against the Jaguars after suffering an apparent leg injury, Ben Goessling of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Aruna's right leg buckled under him while he was being blocked. He had to be helped by trainers to the cart, as he was unable to put weight on his leg. Expect an update on the sixth-round pick's status once the team provides more clarity on the issue.
