Jaguars' Foye Oluokun: Adds additional void years
Oluokun restructured his contract Saturday to create close to $11 million in cap space for the Jaguars, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The NFL's reigning leading tackler added additional void years onto the three-year, $45 million contract signed last offseason. It's a prudent move for a Jaguars franchise that is riding a wave of optimism following a surprise postseason appearance, but also a necessary one given the team is currently nearly $11 million over the cap.

Jaguars' Foye Oluokun: Leads NFL in tackles
Oluokun finished the 2022 regular season with 184 tackles (128 solo), two sacks, five passes defensed, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 17 games.
The 27-year-old inked a three-year, $45 million contract with Jacksonville last offseason, and he finished the first year by leading the league in tackles. Oluokun was especially productive following the Jaguars' Week 11 bye, as he averaged 12.9 tackles over the final nine games of the season, playoffs included. He'll be back in Jacksonville for 2023 and should remain a highly productive IDP option coming off back-to-back seasons with over 180 tackles.

Jaguars' Foye Oluokun: Notches nine stops in win
Oluokun recorded nine tackles (four solo) and one pass defended during Sunday's 31-3 win versus the Texans.
Oluokun came up short of double-digit tackles for the second game in a row after logging at least 14 in each of the previous four contests. This also marked the first time the linebacker has not played every defensive snap for Jacksonville this season, as he and the majority of the team's key defensive starters played 74 percent of snaps. Oluokun has now logged 171 tackles this season, and, so long as he logs another solid performance Week 18 versus Tennessee, he should have a chance to finish as the league's leading tackler for the second year in a row.

Jaguars' Foye Oluokun: Makes 14 stops in Week 15 win
Oluokun recorded 14 tackles (nine solo) against the Cowboys in a Week 15 overtime win.
Oluokun finished second on Jacksonville in tackles in the the contest behind Rayshawn Jenkins (18). It was the fourth straight game with double-digit stops for Oluokun, who hasn't recorded any less than 14 tackles during the dominant span. The fifth-year linebacker leads the NFL with 156 total stops this season.

Oluokun accumulated 14 tackles (10 solo) in Sunday's 36-22 victory over the Titans.
Oluokun once again finished as the Jaguars' leading tackler Week 14, as he contributed on eight tackles of star running back Derrick Henry. The 27-year-old linebacker has now totaled 47 stops across the past three games, and he currently leads the NFL with 142 tackles, just ahead of Seahawks linebacker Jordyn Brooks. Oluokun has a very good chance to finish as the league's leading tackler for the second year in a row, and he'll face yet another run-heavy offense against Dallas in Week 15.

Coming off a season-high 18 tackle performance, Oluokun backed it up with this third highest total of the season.
