  • Jets' Josh Reynolds: Plays just five games in 2025

Reynolds (hip) caught 11 of 21 targets for 101 yards across five regular-season games in 2025.

The nine-year veteran from Texas A&M was sidelined for 12 games this season due to a hip injury but was underwhelming when active. Reynolds' most productive stretch of the season came from Weeks 5 through 7, when he caught nine of 16 targets for 83 yards. After inking a one-year, $2.75 million deal with New York last offseason, he's now set to enter unrestricted free agency. Reynolds could draw interest from teams seeking a depth option at wide receiver ahead of the 2026 season.

  • Jets' Josh Reynolds: Lands on injured reserve

The Jets placed Reynolds (hip) on injured reserve Saturday.

Reynolds appeared on Friday's injury report due to a hip injury. Not only has he been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bengals, but the injury is severe enough to warrant a stint on IR for the veteran wide receiver. Reynolds will be required to miss at least the next four games, which makes Week 13 against the Falcons on Sunday, Nov. 30 the earliest he is eligible to return. With Reynolds on IR and Garrett Wilson (knee) ruled out for Week 8, the Jets' wide receiver corps will consist of Arian Smith, Allen Lazard, Tyler Johnson, Isaiah Williams and Brandon Smith.

  • Jets' Josh Reynolds: Won't play Week 8

Reynolds (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bengals.

Reynolds popped up on Friday's injury report as a DNP due to a hip issue, and the injury is severe enough for him to not travel with the team to Cincinnati. With Reynolds and Garrett Wilson (knee) both ruled out for Week 8, the Jets' wide receiver corps will consist of rookie fourth-rounder Arian Smith, Allen Lazard, Tyler Johnson and Isaiah Williams. The Jets are on a bye for Week 9, so Reynolds will have additional time to recover ahead of Week 10 against the Browns on Sunday, Nov. 9.

  • Jets' Josh Reynolds: Questionable after Friday's DNP

Reynolds (hip) didn't practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Reynolds practiced without limitations Wednesday and Thursday, but his status for Sunday is in question due to a hip injury, which has bothered him throughout the season. If the veteran wide receiver suits up, he could work as the de facto top wideout in the continued absence of Garrett Wilson (knee). The Jets haven't revealed whether Justin Fields or Tyrod Taylor (knee) will start at quarterback Sunday.

  • Jets' Josh Reynolds: Ugly showing on nine targets

Reynolds recorded three receptions on nine targets for 29 yards in Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Panthers.

Reynolds led the team in targets in the absence of Garrett Wilson (knee), though he couldn't translate that into production with either Tyrod Taylor or Justin Fields. Reynolds' longest catch of the day went for only 12 yards, and he was also the target on both of Taylor's interceptions in the game. Even if Wilson remains sidelined in Week 8 against the Bengals, Reynolds will be an unreliable fantasy contributor.
