Patriots' Oshane Ximines: Still injured based on estimate
Rotowire
Ximines (knee) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice estimate.
Ximines exited Sunday's loss to the Seahawks and was unable to return to the game. Although it's just an estimate, as the Patriots didn't hold a practice, it's still not a good sign for the Old Dominion product with the Patriots on a short week. Unless he's ruled out earlier, more clarity on Ximines status for Thursday against the Jets may not come until the team releases their inactive list about 90 minutes before kickoff.

The 26-year-old appeared in 45 games throughout his four years in New York, putting up 67 tackles, nine tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks. Ximines re-signed with the Giants this offseason, but the team's recent trade for Boogie Basham most likely sealed his fate with Big Blue.

Giants' Oshane Ximines: Back from COVID list
Rotowire
Ximines (illness) was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday and is questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles due to conditioning issues, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Ximines tested positive for the virus Dec. 15 and has cleared the health and safety protocols, but he's still ramping up from his time on the COVID list. The 25-year-old has appeared in only one game since Week 8, so he may not be active Sunday even if cleared to suit up.

Giants' Oshane Ximines: Undergoes surgery
Rotowire
Ximines (shoulder) underwent rotator cuff surgery Wednesday, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
The timing of Ximines' rotator cuff procedure seems to suggest that he won't be activated from IR, though the Giants designated him for a return to practice Nov. 23. With Kyler Fackrell (lower leg) now also on IR, Cam Brown and Carter Coughlin will both be candidates to handle increased defensive roles.
