Falcons' Jordan Miller: Preparing to return from IR
Miller (oblique) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Miller has spent nearly four weeks on IR and will return to practice this week. If the week goes as planned, he could return to the field for the first time since Week 4 in Sunday's game against the Saints. The Falcons selected Miller in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, 172nd overall. Miller becomes the second secondary player to be drafted by the Falcons on Day 3. A track star in high school, Miller certainly boasts the athletic profile of a cover corner, but he was inconsistent at times for Washington, often times finding himself a step late on passes in his direction.
