    Shelby (groin) is expected to miss Friday's preseason game against the Saints, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports. Shelby linked up with the Chargers in May as an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana-Monroe. The 23-year-old will work to get healthy quickly so he can continue to try and earn a roster spot.
