The Packers signed Jones on Monday. Jones was a 2021 UDFA and spent time with the Falcons, Dolphins and Titans last year. The Mississippi State product joined the Packers for a tryout during rookie minicamp and impressed enough to get an extended look.

Jones was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list and practiced Saturday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Jones has cleared the league's COVID-19 protocols and has reported to training camp. The 23-year-old was picked up by the Falcons in May after going undrafted out of Mississippi State.
