Steelers' Carlins Platel: Headed to IR
Platel (lower body) reverted to the Steelers' injured reserve Wednesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Now that he has gone unclaimed, the 23-year-old will have to wait until at least the 2023 campaign to make his NFL debut, barring an injury settlement this season.

Platel was spotted on crutches following Sunday's preseason finale against the Lions, but the extent of the injury remains unclear. If he clears waivers, he'll revert to Pittsburgh's injured reserve list, which -- barring an injury settlement -- would end his 2022 campaign.
